The situation in Washington, with Cousins is very interesting. Fan base is down on him and the RG3 injury is going to eventually play a part in what the Skins do with him. If the Skins stick with RG3, then it might mean that they try and move Cousins.

He's throwing a lot of INTs right now but honestly, Washington isn't really helping him a lot with the run game or their WRs IMO. He's thrown a lot of INTs this year so far, eight I believe, but he's only had 8 career starts.

He's only 26. Currently, here is where he's at in terms of NFL Rankings:

16th - Pass Attempts
17th - Pass Completions
23rd - Completion Percentage (Tied)
10th - Passing Yards
3rd - Passing Yards Per Game
2nd - Yards Per Attempt
10th - TD Passes (Tied)
1st - INTs (He's leading the NFL)
25th - Sacks Taken
22nd - Passer Rating

Again, he only has 8 Career starts. While I don't think anybody would say that this kid is turning in a sterling performance thus far, this is actually not bad at all considering his experience level. At least, not in my opinion. What could he be if he had a year or two to develop behind Romo and the opportunity to play behind our OL and supported by our running game? What would you guys think about trying to trade for him (assuming it's reasonable) or sign him as an FA, if the opportunity presented itself?

Never heard of "Kurt Cousins". I've seen plenty of "Kirk Cousins" at MSU and now with Washington and don't think he will be a good NFL starter. He has career backup written all over him.

That might be the problem. His evil twin, has been showing up, for most of the season.

Cowboys already have a career backup behind Romo in Brandon Weeden. Cousins is no better than that, so it would be a waste of draft picks if you traded for him.

I think Cousins is a nicely refined QB. He knows the mechanics of being an NFL QB in a West Coast offense and that makes him appealing to coaches. But, I just don't think he has the arm strength, accuracy or skills to be a quality starter and that is what you're seeing. He does what the coaches ask for and they go gaga over that. But, when the rubber hits the road he just doesn't have the athleticism to be a good starting QB.

I'd take Cousins over Weeden. I'm not giving up much for him though and I will admit, Cousins will look better behind our o-line.

He's not playing very good at all right now.

I don't know about the WR's not helping him out. Jackson has made quite a few plays for them thus far. Cousins simply isn't any good.

Then again neither is RGWoundedKnee.

He's Kirk's cousin. Pretty sure.

Going into the season I thought he would be someone the Cowboys should go after for Romo's replacement if they weren't going through the draft. Now Romo looks like he can play another 2-3 years and Kirk looks dreadful. Funny how the season shakes out sometimes.

He'd have been a good fit in St. Louis after Bradford got hurt. Oakland has Carr and is actually playing well for a rookie..

I think Cousins will be bettered served being on team tailored around a traditional passer. He is playing an offense more or less tailored around RG3 and then it was tweeked to try and fit his skill set
