Kitna has the right attitude

Kitna may have played for a losing team last year. But it wasn't because he didn't play hard on every play. I'm no big fan of his, but in games I saw him play he gave seem to give 100% on every play. I predict he will challenge Romo his first year. It will be interesting to see how Romo approaches being challenged for his position.

While I am not crazy enough to think that Kitna will be any more than a backup to Romo, He will push Romo to start crossing those T's and dotting those I's. Jerry listened to me. Thanks Jerry.

Kitna will not challenge Romo as the starting quarterback. A Kurt Warner would stand a chance of competing with Romo. It's remotely possible that the draft could produce a quarterback who could push Romo during training camp--should Jones decide to select one. However, there are 60+ million reasons why Kitna will not unseat Romo no matter how well he performs in practice. The man's track record works against him in this situation.

Kitna isn't going to push Romo for a starting job. I do agree that he will push Romo competively though. Kitna is at least good enough to get Romo's competitive juices flowing. Brad certainly couldn't.

Where do people here get the idea Kitna is here to replace Romo..?

Frankly, Kitna is exactly the type of QB who would make this offense productive and will push Romo to play better

Kitna has has a good ARM. He plays within the gameplan and only when it was really obvious he would have to take chances later in games to make big plays playing from behind in Detroit did he really struggle.

In the last Detroit game we won late in the 4th QT..Mr. Kitna had outplayed Romo all game against our vaunted defense who couldn't get to him to save their lives with his quick release and quick reads.

And Kitna played really well when he was in Seattle before arriving in Detroit under Holmgren who knew offense and had some offensive talent to go with Kitna.

I beleive if Romo makes one or two untimely fumbles or ints. early in the season that cost games like he did in the latter part of this season, Kitna will be in there in a hurry, without hesitation.

I for one am delighted wiith this acquisition.

It cost us three games to have Brad and started the poor moral on this team last season when it was obvious..he was spent and we went 1-2 with him.

I still have no idea how Jason Garrett could have not seen that being the offensive HC. To me, the issue wasn't Brad was so bad. The issue was Garrett not demanding we do something about it before it smelled up the season.

A. Its ridiculous. and for reference see the bills, lions games from 07 and the eagles game in 08. Think romo should have come out? And by the way the kitna outplayed romo stuff in 07 is funny too.

B. Do you know who the head coach is? I am not even sure he can dictate who plays and who doesnt.

The only challenge that is associated with Kitna is that he can step in when Romo cant. Thats all.
