Per the Ticket... Kitna said McGee has improved more than any player he's ever seen in the span of one year.

Also said he should pay rent at Valley Ranch because he's there so much. :)

Too bad he can't get in a game for even a series or two. I bet he tears it up next offseason.

That sounds a lot more than just a teammate sticking up for another one. It would be great if McGee actually panned out.

Well, we can hope for a 30 pt blow out by the 3rd quarter of the AZ game. But this is certainly news that brings hope.

Sort of reminiscent of Roy giving props to Dez. But in Kitna's case, probably in a well-intentioned way.

Only 30 with our def? Remember we were up 27-7 in the Washington game and almost lost it. Maybe if we were up by 40 with only 5 min left it would be safe.

The question is how bad do they think he was originally?

I was never too crazy about Kitna in his pre-Cowboy days, and I certainly didn't like the idea of actually trading for him.

But I have to admit that his play on the field, his behavior off the field and his comments have caused my respect for him to soar.

I will be sad when he retires in 2012 and is replaced by McNabb. (And not sure if I'm joking about that McNabb stuff.)

Great, since he won't play here he will probably be a nice pickup for someone else.

most of the backups should be playing these final two days to get a look at these guys to see if they are part of the future..Kitna playing proves what, he's not the future...

CZ experts said he cant play, so what Kitna says doesnt mean squat.

These guys KNOW.

I've always liked him, really liked what we saw this preseason too and especially that last preseason game. I think he has alot of upside.

Would be great. One less thing to worry about at the backup position for years to come.

:laugh2: Did you really just say McNabb is going to be a Cowboy? First of all he doesn't want to be a backup, second it's not happening anyway.

Yeah. That's what I said about Randall Cunningham.

What in the world makes you think McNabb is coming here?

McNabb will never be a Cowboy. I'll bet almost whatever you like on it.

Re: McNabb becoming a Cowboy

1. Anyone pitching a hissy about an offhand comment takes offhand comments way too seriously.

2. Reminder: the owner of the Cowboys is Jerry Jones, which means virtually anything can happen personnel-wise (good and bad).

3. Anyone who ever makes or takes bets on what roster any given NFL player may or may not end up is probably the kind of person who bets on preseason games.
