Kitna Takes Parting Shot At The Lions

Anyone who thinks Kitna is a better QB than Romo should be promptly pointed and laughed at. My God, is that what's its come to Cowboy fans? Has common sense and a basic football acumen, much like Elvis, just completely left the building?

Kitna has had a 85+ QB rating a whopping total of one time in a 12 year career.

It does become very difficult to take their opinion serious after such a proclamation.

Best guy available to be a backup imo. But I do wonder with him being 37 is when is his expiration date.

I agree. I think he is more than capable. In fact if Romo were having one of those days then I'd bench him for Kitna. He's not Romo but on his good days he is way way better than Romo's bad days. Don't think Wade would bench Romo but he should consider it at times now that we actually have a QB who can not only not lose a game but actually win one for us. It's a mistake to underestimate Kitna. I'm excited about him being here. Some of you forget Romo is still maturing as a QB. Even Kitna's presence should help Romo.

I mean what player says "yea, being injured while my team went 0-16 is awesome!!!"

If they think that is a parting shot no wonder they play up everything said here as life-threatening.

Or just maybe now that he is a Cowboy what he says gets more attention.

Man I don't know about you guys but I'm very excited about Kitna. IMO, he is the second best QB we've had since Aikman.

Brad Johnson was a total joke but if some one offered me a butt load of money for a job I wasn't qualified for I'd do it too.

If Romo goes down I'm picking up Crayton and RW11 in my fantasy league.

Not that Bledslow was all that but I'd say he was th 2nd best QB we've had since Aikman. Maybe Vinny before Kitna also.

That makes it a little less ludicrous, but I still don't think Kitna is nearly the QBs of Testeverde or Bledsoe. He's basically the same age as Bledsoe was when he came here with about half the skins on the wall. He just has that new car smell for Cowboy fans. And if anyone thinks Romo throws some Wiskey Tango Foxtrot interceptions, wait till you get a prolonged glimpse of Kitna in action. (He's only had a positive TD:INT ratio in 3 of his 12 career seasons).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he meant second best since Aikman left, implying Romo is the best. Now which of Kitna, Testaverde, and Bledsoe is the better QB is very much debatable. There is no ludicrous opinion on thinking one was better than the other (now, I'm not talking about the span of their entire careers, but their contribution to the Cowboys when they came here.. of course, when it comes to Kitna, you would have to make an educated guess on how he will do).
