Am I the only one that thinks Kitna had a fairly good game in a losing effort?

He did have one bad interception, but he hung in there pretty good and did move the ball.

These tipped passes causing interceptions are absoutely uncanny!

I thought he played well three of the picks weren't his fault.

That third INT was thrown pretty well behind Roy. Maybe you can say Roy should have caught it, but that was a poorly thrown ball

Kitna proved that he deserves to be a backup in this league. If our defense could keep a game close, he is exactly what you want in a backup.

He played good enough for a win.

Too bad our Defense went out trick or treating.

Not bad. He can't throw and catch the ball. Our team is lacjing in leadership and overall concentration. The WR's and TE's have dropped and tipped passes all season that have turned into INT's.

So much for rallying around the guy huh?

I really thought they might come out today with a chip on their shoulder and play hard becuase their back s were pinned against the wall. So much for that. Terrible effort today.

im not gonna bash Kitna...the WRs didnt help him out today the two tips werent his fault...the other one was.....and dont forget the one that got negated by the penalty...he should have had four

It's a shame really, he tried at least.

Par for the course for the tipped passes getting picked. It seems most other teams tipped passes fall harmlessly to the ground, not ours though.

Just a bad year through and through.

You want the running game and the defense to help your backup QB. Unfortunately, our running game and the defense never thought they were playing the Giants again.

At what point do they put McGee in?

When they didn't go for 2 to try to make it 35-18, I didn't see any point in bringing Kitna back out. That was a chance to make it a 2 possession game and they chose not to do that. It was obvious at that point that even the coaching staff was not trying to win. So why not let McGee get some playing time?

For the record, it was over long before the 35-17 point. I'm just saying that call officially showed the coaching staff gave up on any chance of winning the game.

he didn't play good IMO. on 2 of the tipped ints the balls were thrown behind the receivers. to me both the receivers and kitna get equal blame. and the defense played poorly because they know there is no hope with kitna at QB. that last int you just knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

Kitna did better than I expected today. The tipped ball by Roy was behind him, but I still think the defender had an assist from the turf on the pick. The other two picks off deflections were on Austin and Felix. Kitna ear holed Witten on one play, the pass fell incomplete but Witten never looked for the ball. Austin had another drop on a slant I believe that would have picked up good yardage. The last pick was on Kitna, but the game had been decided by that point.

At the goal line, trying to get that touchdown that was stopped on 4th down...

I knew exactely where that ball was going...to Barber. So did the defense!

Why does Garrett always call that same **** play? Over and over and over again...

And the oline cannot move their man 1/2 yard off the ball to let a runner get the other 1/2 yard?!

This team is like going out to a bar...coming home late a night, and waking up and seeing who is laying next to you! (not that i have done that)

I loved his play. I expected him to have a good game too. No surprise to me.

when we lose the 9th game. then we put McGee i think. we have to be mathematically out of it before we throw in the towel. is not as if McGee is a superior QB to kitna. not now and maybe not ever.

so by thanksgiving we may see McGee make his first start vs the super bowl champs.

Man I wish now we would've drafted Colt McCoy.

Math isn't your strong suit is it?

Not sure about his performance really... the last int was his fault as it was thrown behind RW, he should of had another int if not for a flag away from that play

I felt he held the ball WAY too long on several plays

he had a few good passes, but way to old for a backup, need to consider Mcgee from here on out because Kitna is a waste of a position if you ask me

He played well as I expected. And he will get better going forward. He is the best back up QB we have had in a while.

He made a few mistakes...but, it looked like he was really trying. He almost ran one in...and he did take off a few times when he saw the play break down.

Oh, well...I guess it's all a moot point anyway.
