He looks the part but he has flaws.......maybe he can't whiteboard or something

If he is one of the top 2-3 QBs then this is a bad class imo....but you are probably right and he goes early

He's supposedly pretty smart. He's raw but he has all the skill set.

I don't think he got a lot of help playing in the Kelly system at ND.

I watched most of their games and sometimes he looked great and other times he looked clueless

Physically he looks legit, something just seems off

I wanted a QB like him to back up Dak but there are probably other guys we can get later

Do you think Watson and LJackson go top 10?

Mechanics need a ton of work. Kizer scatters his throws quite a bit (he has a number of throws that bounce to receivers, and it's not an arm strength issue). I love his poise, but he seriously regressed this past year. I do think that there is a Kelly effect in this, but he needs to be selected by a team with a QB coach who is well versed in fundamental teaching. If he plays immediately, I don't see it going well.

I doubt either of those two go in Top 10. I think the only guy that could go Top 10 is Kizer because compared to those two, physically and skill set wise, he looks like a Top 10 prospect. Whether he actually is, well we will find out as he goes through workouts, combines, etc.

I guess I am way off on my assessment......wouldn't be the first time

3. The first quarterback taken in the NFL draft will have major flaws

After watching Deshone Kizer in Notre Dame's season-opening loss to Texas, I predicted that Kizer would be the first quarterback taken in the NFL draft this spring. Now that the redshirt sophomore has declared for the draft, there's a real possibility that happens but if it does, it won't be a unanimous or even a consensus pick around the league.

I hit up a couple of NFL contacts to get the latest temperature on where Kizer's stock sits — and it wasn't positive. One contact said he "sucks," while another said he has more studying to do but has "serious reservations" about Kizer. That's not exactly first-round praise.

The good news for Kizer is that nobody is catching first-round praise right now. From Deshaun Watson to Mitch Trubisky to Patrick Mahomes and beyond, every potential first round pick draws as much questions as he does excitement in NFL circles

Note, I am not saying he will go Top 10. But if you are wondering which guy could potentially go Top Ten - Trubisky, Kizer or Watson - it's probably Kizer from that list.

It's likely none of the three will go Top 10.
