Any links to actual comments from the doctors or people who were at the work-out?

The whole Myles Jack situation is odd. The timelines are weird and everything just seems a little off. I'm not saying the kid is trying to mislead anyone, or that it's anything negative. It's just odd.

I still like him...but could he be another Clowney?

Personally, I think he has too many voices in his ear and I never like football players like that. I am sure he's a great kid, but all this posturing is silly. Be a competitor. Go run. If your time sucks, go to a speed camp and then set up another workout. He's already getting a third workout anyway. It makes me wonder if he's the kind of guy who is going to come out of games for every little tweak. If so, he won't last as a linebacker.

I don't know, something just smells a bit odd about this whole thing.

A lot easier said when it's not your millions riding on it. I get what you're saying but unfortunately in this day and age where him running a 4.58 instead of a 4.48 because his knee isn't 100% it's going to be a huge deal. Could be the difference in him getting drafted 8th or 9th or 19th or 20....a lot of $ on the line to just go out there and say, "the hell with it, let's see what happens."

He's already going to have at least 3 workouts when all is said and done. What has he had to lose at the last two? A linebacker who is more interested in making business decisions isn't going to last long.

Like I said, I think he has too many voices in his ear between his team of trainers, doctors, agents and family. I don't put it all on him.

When else would you have liked him to run? He wasn't medically cleared to workout 100% by his surgeon until March 10th. Yesterday was his 1 and only chance and he chose not to because he didn't feel 100%. In a perfect world I agree he should have run, but again, a lot easier said when it's not your millions on the line.

For a guy coming off of meniscus surgery, and I'm going to assume that he got it repaired as opposed to removed, it's going to take a good amount of time to overcome that.

I'm not surprised to hear that he's not fully working out. The medical check, rather than the field workouts, is the most important thing for him.

Couldn't someone be sued for starting an unsubstantiated rumor that could damage Jack's draft status. Jack is probably my choice if we were to go defense at #4. I certainly don't want to waste it on another DB.

If he somehow falls to 34 like Gregory...lol.

We'll be hated like last year when we got Gregory and Collins. Three first round picks for only a 1st and a 2nd, ha!

If the rumors are unsubstantiated, they're certainly damaging. This sort of thing goes on prior to the draft all the time (of course). It probably doesn't take much to scare of a team or two with some misinformation.
