Dallas is a great place to go to position coach if you can get the gig. They're always on tv, they're not a small market or cheap owners, they've got amazing facilities and have had a stable coaching environment since 2010 now. It's kind of an ideal spot on your way up and out if you want to be a coordinator some day.

I agree, for me personally, it had nothing to do with Jones/Garrett. Just he could do a great job, but be out of a job, if Garrett gets fired and the new coach wants to run a 3-4 for example.

Ignore it. Garrett’s body of work speaks for itself. If they like Garrett, fine. I’m sure he’s a great person. But there’s absolutely no empirical evidence supporting the assertion he’s a good coach.
