If I remember correctly, he has taken over 3rd down play calling on defense.

If that is the case, what is going on with that? 3rd Down defense was horrible against a bad offense.

Secondary has been good, but this is unacceptable.

Eberflus called some plays too. What Richards is doing since the beginning of the season is probably no different than the former. They still look better this year than last.

Richards can be afforded some mistakes if Garrett has gotten over a decade plus of incompetence.

He shows promise for now..

It doesn't matter who was calling plays.

They were in man coverage - though played off a lot more than I would have thought - and corners got beat. That's what this defense is, and it didn't work last night.
