They grow up fast in Hollywood.

Seems like only yesterday that Dakota Fanning was at the top of the child star A-list. Now, not only does the 15-year-old play a villainous vampire in the "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon," Fanning says she recently filmed a hot n' heavy kissing scene for another upcoming movie with one of her "New Moon" co-stars.

And it ain't Robert Pattinson.

Fanning confirmed to "Access Hollywood" that she shares a steamy, girl-on-girl makeout session with "New Moon" star Kirsten Stewart in "The Runaways," about the '70s girl band that included rocker Joan Jett.

"Yes, it happens in 'The Runaways,' " said Fanning. "It was passionate. We're playing Joan Jett and Cherie Currie and they're best friends in the film and became really close in real life. And that's something that went down back in the '70s.

"We were so into the scene and into the script and the characters," she added.

Fanning will play Currie in "The Runaways," which is scheduled to open in 2010. Stewart, 19, who plays the mortal Bella Swan in the "Twilight" films, will play Jett.

The teen stars are slated to reunite again next year in "Eclipse," the third installment of the "Twilight" franchise. Fanning will again play Jane, a powerful vampire who makes an enemy of Bella.

"It's such a phenomenon," said Fanning of the "Twilight" films. "And I wanted to be able to say that I was a part of it."

She's really weird, her interviews are painful to watch.

That's because she's playing Joan Jett in a movie about the Runaways

dude...

Chris Hansen and crew need to stage another episode: To Catch a Predator: Hollywood

I never understood why Hollywood would take an adorable child star, and try to make her play grown up as she grows older. That's why I never understood why guys are slobbering over the Olsen twins, "they're 18 now he-yuk", I remember watching them **** their pants on Full House. Think about it, it's like as a parent, going to your kid's school play, and seeing her classmate and exclaiming, "oh, how adorable", and then 10 years later a Yeagermeister-looking mother****er knocks on her door with a box of Diuretics, "I heard your 18 now HEEEEE YUK let's go to ma trailer and have a good 'ole Ospry thyme!"

Even if she wasn't, that picture is a good look for her.

Although he plays the same sort of sweet, shy, awkward lead in this upcoming film; he does create an alter-ego where he has to actually play a different character than we're used to seeing.

He also was pretty great in an online series of shorts titled Clark and Michael where he doesn't play the same character.

Looks hilarious... kinda like Loser meets Fight Club.

it's bad enough they play that crap on the radio, I can't believe they're making a movie.

She performed at the 82' Texas Jam at the Dome in Houston and it was a mass exodus when she came on the stage.

I disagree with that last part.

You have to differentiate between an actor who has no range (like a Keanu Reeves or Nic Cage) and a comedian who has a type or character that they can continually play successfully to comedic effect the way Cera does.

I mean, you wouldn't criticize Rodney Dangerfield for always doing the same character... because that was what you wanted to see when you went to watch him. Michael Cera is funny because he can play that character so well.

Michael Cera has sucked in everything he's done. He's basically the same stupid, worthless character, and he's awful with his lame attempts at sarcastic humor. Michael Cera = Epic Fail.

Actually, he was slightly different in Juno, and he sucked a little less, but nevertheless, he still sucked.

He was great in arrested development.
