I've been studying the position. Here's the two I've found that need to be Cowboys:

Darius Alexander, Toledo
Joshua Farmer, FL ST

We have a chance to build a DLine for the next 10 years. It would suck to face one of the best DT drafts since 2012 and not build the type of DT combo that vaults us into super bowl contention.

These two would form a combo reminiscent of the Carter/Davis combo that put Philly in the super bowl. Jerry, you want a super bowl team? Then show us. Make the right moves, instead of more WRs and CBs and TEs.

Good picks. Alexander is probably a 3rd round guy that has a decent amount of upside. He could probably come in amd give snaps in a rotation, and develop into a plus starter down the line. I like Farmer. I think he is a day 3 guy. Might make it to our 5th. Kind of a jack of all 1T

Can't afford to wait. If we want any chance to build a super bowl team, this is the year to start w/ DT's taken in 2 of the first 3 rounds.

We had a great start staring us in the face last draft w/ Tavondre Sweat in the 1st, but we went w/ project OT instead. TENN loves them some Jerry, BTW.

Those two guys probably arent going to go before the 3rd round though. Farmer is more of a day 3 pick. If you want top 44 guys, you should be looking at Derrick Harmon, Walter Nolen, Kenneth Grant, Tyleik Williams, Alfred Collins and Omar Norman-Lott

0% chance Farmer is a day 3 pick

I’m all for adding 1 or 2 DTs this year but you’re talking about a couple of fringe 2nd / 3rd rounders.

If the board falls right I’d be looking earlier.

If Dallas bypasses DT in round 1, which is probable now, I have tow pet cats.

Ty Robinson 3 Tech/ Day 2
Rotate him with Osa at 3 tech.

Zeek Biggers. NT
I watched Zeek at GT. He was a big part of their run defense improvement. Has played at 0, 1, and 3.
6'6, 35 inch wingspan. Late day 3 pick. 2 down DT. Get him into a NFL weight room/staff and in a few years he could be a solid rotation Dt.
Definitely think there's more to him than what the stats showed at GT.

Alexander will be 25 this year. At best probably a one contract player and near his ceiling when he arrives.

Love the ideas!Solid. I would like to bring in some big ole long corn fed looking dudes like Tyler Batty and Ty Robinson. Both have flex. They have length and size, weight. Way I see it we need SEVERAL guys along the dline. I also like Jack Sawyer. As far as a pure DT, give me Farmer and Alfred Collins to plug the middle. They both are good against the run and create havoc. My dream come true would be getting Graham from Michigan. If he fell.

Can't go on where scout spewers put players. Read the reports and think hard about what a player brings to the table.

TJ Sanders, I’d put him right there with Lott if not better!

You can disregard rankings all you want but there are much better prospects available and there is a much bigger need at NT than 3T…I’d much rather get that that type of player early as possible and then add another solid rotation piece mid rounds if we’re looking to double dip.

You can say there are much better prospects all you want, but until you examine their skillset and deduce how it will fit into the NFL, just going by TV fooforaw will make your take unsound.

Are the guys you're listening to the same guys who claimed MO and Taco and Mazi were 1st rounders? What's your source?

Rotation types at DT are the exact reason why we keep losing in the playoffs.

What rankings are you looking at that has Farmer as a day 3 pick? And once you find them…throw them away and never look at them again

I like those two also.

Nearing ceiling at just 25???

One year contract guy because he will be just 29 after his first deal?

Man, rough crowd.
