I liked the way he stood up to Carter not taking any BS. That’s what you want to see from not only your QB but everyone on the team. The team, led by Dak, stood up to the spitting wimps and let them know that they’ll be a team to deal with down the road. Dak played one of his better games. Stat’s don’t show it because the Eagles had 10 more minutes time of possession than the Cowboys and all the big drops. He was active in the pocket and making great decisions and throwing the ball with confidence. He looks very comfortable in this new offense.

Lot of credit goes to the offensive line. There were some mental lapses that caused pressure from time to time but for the most part they protected well and run blocked well. A good base to build on. Sucks to lose though. They could’ve won that game.

Dak looked noticeably slimmer and more agile in the pocket than the last few years. I thought he played well. We should have won the game but an admirable showing. Lamb had too many drops
Yep, and key drops at key moments. Game started like Lamb was going to be a beast, but ultimately he cost them

Nice message! I've been hard on him at times and am iffy on him overall but last night he played tough and made some great throws. It's funny, I've seen him put up massive stats and the eye test said to me he didn't play well and last night his stat line said nothing but the eye test was that he had an impressive game and was on point. Correct on the TD saving tackle too because that guy runs a 4.3

I hope the coaches learned a valuable lesson. It's very important to play your starters during preseason to help them get the rust out of them. There is practice speed. Then there is actual regular season game speed.

Jerry should dock the coaches' paychecks this week for such an ignorant move.

Forget the shape Dak is in....forget the leaving his hammy ripping apart thing.....he had no issue standing up to the goon on the Iggles and did not back down. The off-field leadership with Dak has never been questioned, but seeing him not back down should be a rallying point. Let's just not get too crazy yet....

Agree 100%. Just a couple of series at least.

It’s just one game but a good start.

..right you are, Shorty. Played good enough to win, but not catch breaks.
This.

In fact, we caught some bad breaks.

Played well enough to win tho..

I still think this team is a contender even if we lose next week.

17 games.

Dak had a great game last night. The stats were mid at the end of the day, but the drops really killed any chance of them being much better. I only recall seeing maybe 3 or 4 off target passes all night.

I do think not having Carter out there opened up the running game and helped a lot, but regardless, he played well and 88 let him and the team down big time....and of course Sanders and the fumble.
