I watched the whole thing. Details, details, details. I would love to have Kurt sit and study the film with Moore. I think the vast experience Kurt has would provide Moore with receiver/QB details on plays to make them more effective, more variety, but still easier for the QB.

I just watched it and the coordination of this offense sucks. WR’s running lazy route and not the right way. Dak doing the right thing, and than not. The whole thing is actually a mess. We need an OC that is technical real bad folks.

The first int was all on Dak. He is supposed to hit that back foot and release the football. The second one was a combo of a lazy route and poor decision.

Kellen got to go
The First INT was not all on Dak.
Gallup ran a give up route.
Dak had the ball in the air and Gallup just coasted into a stick route instead of hitting a comeback route.

WRs do not have to get major separation but you KNOW if you have separation or not and this habit of just chilling when covered is awful.
He did it at least once per game that we saw.
He has to be better next year or to simply not play.
He's a big enough WR to use his body to shield the ball.

The Second INT was on Dak because he forced the ball into double coverage, largely because he doesn't trust anyone but CeeDee and Schultz.
The ball was tipped but it was a terrible decision regardless.

I have been saying it since last year. Sloppy mess.

This is what happens when you let a guy with 1 year of QB coaching run an offense that he inherited from Jason Garrett. There is no way he understands it to the level that you need learning it from a guy who probably didn't understand fully either.

The part I can't explain is why it looks good some weeks and sometimes it doesn't. This is twice against SF that it looks like a mess.
SF was never worried about this offense. How did we expect to reduce the talent on offense this offseason...and play the 49ers in their place...and beat them? Did they not watch Dallas last year....in their own house...against the 49ers?

which is WHY on 2nd and 2 with a minute and a half left in the 2nd quarter...we should have been RUNNING the ball. 2nd int should have NEVER been a pass!!!!!!!

Dak had no weapons around him, no Oline, no running game half of the time, poor receiver route running with no separation, poor route running concepts and poor playcalling/schemes. Plus, he needs better QB coaching. Get everything improved and you will see Dak be much more consistent. Even Brian Baldinger and Kurt Warner said as much today.
So it's just dumb luck and playing bad teams that made the #1 offense you love to throw out there now after another Dak chokes game it's
"Dak had no weapons around him, no Oline, no running game half of the time, poor receiver route running with no separation, poor route running concepts and poor playcalling/schemes. Plus, he needs better QB coaching"
Funny No weapons but #1 offense LMAO you can't have it both ways. All these defects but the one common denominator is Dak, get rid of the poor OC that will be 2 he's killed off. Probably will cost MM his job at some point. Top 5 D and he still crapped his pants, " it won't happen again, best shape of my life, I will work harder, I’m hard on myself. I’m my biggest critic, I’m confident in myself. I’m confident in my knowledge of the game, I hate to lose. It’s a bad feeling but, I mean, it kind of gets you resettled, gets you back right ", yada yada yada, long on words short on backing them up.

Thanks for sharing @unionjack8

My thoughts-

Warner is great, I would love to see Romo do the same.

Moore did not call a good game. He played right into the SF defense.

Way too many long developing plays.

Dak doesn't always stare down a receiver, but he does sometimes.

Our WR's sometimes run very lazy routes.

Dak does get happy feet, even in a clean pocket.

Cowboys not attacking the middle of the field is a myth.

Dak doesn't see the field as well as you would like your QB to.

true, but it all comes back to the off coaches, and how they teach their players.

Benched for what? Being right and how y'all can't handle facts?

Get lost, Troll.
Well here are 3 reasons you should be benched, just saying:

#8 - You will not personally attack or insult other members.
#9 - You will not troll or antagonize other members.
#10 - You will not stalk or continuously harass other members.

Did you watch the video of that INT? Everyone called out Dak for his multiple hitch steps that delayed the pass and allowed the SF defender to jump the route. That wasn't on Gallup but solely on Dak.

If you watch this and still think we are gonna win a SB with Dak you got issues...

Exactly, right. Kurt Warner called it correctly. That 2nd interception was on CeeDee. All season long, lazy routes were run that ended up turning into interceptions.
Agreed about the poor route.

Also if you watch the play in the wide angle view, you'll notice the ROLB moves back as Zeke runs the swing route to the right, he even peeks back to see if Dak is looking (he wasn't) nevertheless Zeke was open and has a WR as a blocker with 2 defenders in the area. So it would essentially be 2 on 2 all the way to the goal line.... Not saying he would have scored but he would have gotten close.

Also, the MLB cheats to the left when he sees CD, leaving a hole in the middle of the defense, there is actually a running lane in the online that Dak could have pulled the ball down and ran through to get the 1st down.

While I agree the route was lazy as he needed to cross the defenders face to create more space. I feel like that was a bad option compared to the others available. Dak just had to look around, but you can also see that he never looked off of CD from the snap. Just a bad play by the QB all around on that one.

Since the Carr meme was posted, here is his breakdown of the game.

Slams coaching. Gives the Dak fans a little something to hang on to, but is generally critical of him.

If you can tolerate his presentation, he does give good insights and backs them up.

Both int's were on Dak.

This. Its crazy. I don't think the WR's know what route they are supposed to be running. Its like too many option routes causing guys to think too often, which could be why Dak holds the ball long. He doesn't know what route the WR will actually run. Don't even get me started on the route concepts. You see what Kurt Warner and everyone else who knows football and offenses is saying out our route combo's/scheme. I can guarantee Dak probably high up on the list of QB's who had to constantly throw the ball in tight coverage. There is no way I want Kellen Moore back. I wonder why Mike McCarthy isn't calling his offense? He always called plays when he was in GB. He even took play calling duties away from the OC at one point in time in GB and say he will never not call plays again. Then comes to Dallas and not call the offense at all. Very weird. This has to be Jerry's decision?
