Dak’s just good right now.

Anyone saying different is just hating for no reason.

I spoke a lot of crap about Dak but to deny his start or the season that he’s having would just be moronic. Dude is playing a high level of football.

This is why I can respect you, we all know you have serious issues with huge contracts but at least you can make an honest football assessment. Hats off to you pal........

So 3 games into his career and you are blasting a rookie QB to somehow make yourself feel better and elevate Dak?

Mac Jones first 3 career games (1 win 2 losses)

81 of 120 67.5% Comp % 737 Yards 2 TD's 3 INT's

Dak Prescott first 3 games (2 wins 1 loss)

66 of 99 66.7% Comp % 767 Yards 1 TD 0 INT's

So you are belittling a rookie QB that has equal to or better stats than Dak did in his first 3 games as a rookie when Dak easily had a much better offense and defense around him???? Nice try.
You just can't enjoy humor.

If Dak was unstoppable then where are the Super Bowl trophies?

I'm pretty sure he's only referring to THIS season. Dak is playing the best football of his life right now .. He had only showed flashes of this level of play in the past.. Now he is straight ballin every week. It's fine to acknowledge that he was not on this level before because he wasn't .. It's also fine to acknowledge where he is right now.. which is playing the game at the highest level he ever has. He has reached the point where he can now make it so that the defense can never be right. I think that's probably what Warner is referring to. QBs eventually get to a point where if they are smart enough they can see what the defense is doing and ALWAYS audible to something that will beat it. Now that doesn't guarantee you will always beat it.. A receiver might slip.. a lineman might whiff on a block.. somebody might run the wrong route.. a ball might sail on you. But from a mental standpoint, Dak is at that point where he is going to always know the right play to get into for whatever the defense is doing. We saw it with Romo at the end.. but by the time HE got there his body was letting him down so we really only got it for a couple of years... It excites me to think we might get 10 years of this with Dak!

Well according to the other person, you bashed Romo for being a choke artist but Dak has his fair share of games where he choke like the 2019 lost to Carson Wentz with no receivers. As for his playoff record, its too small a sample size to conclude at this point. We should have fired JG years earlier!
Hello! Dak was playing with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder and a fractured index finger in his throwing hand! Pretty messed up if you're going to call out Dak for playing injured.

Only 3 games in and the narrative continues. Just cancel the rest of the season and Dak's career and give him the Super Bowl trophy and HoF jacket.

There is probably more than one person out there who gained joy from the last two games and then passed away either unexpectedly or otherwise. And then there are people who can't derive enjoyment and choose misery. I feel for those people.

He has too many weapons to be stopped. In 4 plays he'll always have one available to keep the chains moving until the end zone is in reach.

Dude, did you even watch that season? You don’t remember what was going on with Dak that week? He shouldn’t have even played but he’s a gamer.

you’re dead set on being contrary. He’s playing at a high level. Why is it impossible for you and your ilk to actually be happy that we have a good quarterback.

its weird

I could be wrong but I'm assuming some league experts believes Dak has taken his game to another level, his mechanics and more importantly, knowledge and command. In other words, defensive coor can no longer fool him. For comparison, his knowledge and command could now be where Romo was at the end of his career. Remember how some of us have said Romo was a having an OC on the field. This is also where/why we hearing the Peyton Manning comparison........

A side note related to this.....
He made an interesting comment in the training camp about the mental game he played on the sideline last season before the snap of each play. Breaking down or projecting proper pre-snap reads, check-offs based on the defensive alignment/scheme. I think that's some of what we are seeing now.

How about you just cancel your account and the rest of us will continue to enjoy this great cowboys team and ELITE Dak making you look foolish?:flagwave::yourock::oldcouple::dance:

Oh I see, so because I delve into the reality of it only being 3 games you are triggered and need me to cancel my account. Typical these days of the emotionally butthurt who like to dream.

Dak is not going Hollywood or Vegas (or on a weekly basis) during the season, going to Cabo during the playoffs, going to live concerts during away games or choking at the end of games like Romo did, has he?

Asking for a friend...

You flew way off the point I was making. You said:

"This is a Cowboys Fan Forum. Guess what is supposed to happen here? Answer: Cheering and supporting your Cowboys players. If that bothers you, maybe you should find another forum to post in."

I am curious why that didn't apply when Romo was the QB. It only applies now that you're on this crusade to protect Dak and attack anything remotely negative that is said about him?

I get all the Hollywood garbage, going on vacations right before important playoff games, etc. He irritated the crap out of me too. I was also on board with letting Dak continue starting in 2016 when Romo was ready to return. Bringing Romo back in would have disrupted the momentum the team had built. But it makes you a massive hypocrite when you didn't have that attitude then and only now have it because you want to protect Dak. Don't tell people not to do something when you have a personal history of doing far worse. You were in no way 'supporting your Cowboys players".

By the way, in the end we ALL had to find a new forum, regardless of our opinions of the players..
