Ah, no. New England has a very good defense. Definitely better than what Dak has had at any point in his NFL career. Pay attention.

Dallas defense rank in terms of points allowed during Dak's career:

2016: 5th
2017: 13th
2018: 6th
2019: 11th
2020: 28th
2021: 13th

So besides 2020, the defense has ranked no worse than 13th in terms of points allowed. Add to that the o-line, WR's, and running back Dak has had compared to what a rookie QB in NE has this season....but when you have to use a rookie QB 3 games into his career to somehow elevate Dak that's desperation.

absolutely... ZEKE was awesome in week 1 even though he was pounded in here. The Cowboys decided they just werent going to run, and it worked. We moved the ball up and down the field, and without Zeke stepping up and popping rushers play after play after play, Dak would have been sacked 4-6 times.

Nope, Dak isn't a slouch, and yes, he's having a decent year so far. Nothing spectacular enough to start making room in the ring of honor, but yes, he's doing ok so far this season. Don't forget, though, that there are 14 games still to play and things could change drastically.

Like I just said a few posts up, I'm not willing to prop Dak up or compare him to the greats of the past or present until he has earned something he can hang his hat on. At the moment his only chest-pounding accomplishments are his flashy fantasy football stats and that lone ROY award, and neither of those is close to being enough.

I'll give Dak credit if he either win the MVP or win us the superbowl. I'm not someone who use double standard just because it suit my case; if Mahomes can win the MVP with an elite head coach and elite weapons, than it shouldn't be a knock on Dak for having a complete offense as well. I think Moore is doing a great job so far.

There is really no excuse not to make the NFCCG this year when our division stink once again. Six free wins that other QB like Murray, Stafford, Wilson, Herbert, Mahomes, Carr, Rodgers, Cousins, Mayfield, Jackson and others don't get to have.

Our defense is not quite shut down but its very opportunistic. Even the Rams defense this year isn't shut down. It really hard to have a shut down defense and this is the most complete team we have ever had in a very long time. There is no more EXCUSE, let see Dak continue his hot streak all the way to the Superbowl cause I'm tire of being patient.

I said it before the season. I expect playoffs. but NFCCG is target for next year. this defense as good as everyone feels about it now is going to be tested and exposed. new scheme, new players it will take time to go from bottom sucking defense, to a good one and it doesn't happen over night. you don't go from bottom sucking to top 10 in one off season.

also question for you: do you give Allen credit? he hasn't won a superbowl or MVP. How about Murray? Jackson? Cousins? Mayfield? etc.....

and follow up question: will you come knocking him down if he does win the MVP or Superbowl and credit everyone but him? will you say we could have done this with almost any other QB and not pay 160M. will you find a way to criticize?

What is there to be upset about? The Cowboys look amazing and Dak is killing it. He should be over joyed that his "Dak is average" mantra is way off.
