A&M Freshman Kyle Allen To Start On Saturday
10 hours ago
Channel 11 television out of Dallas has reported and Gigem247.com has received confirmation via multiple sources that Texas A&M freshman Kyle Allen will start at quarterback Saturday versus ULM. Texas A&M offensive coordinator Jake Spavital indicated during Tuesday's media session that Allen and starting quarterback Kenny Hill would be splitting reps at the position this week. Spavital said that a decision would be made by Thursday.

Although some people reported that Hill would indeed start Saturday, we also reported that Allen received most of the snaps in Wednesday's practice and tonight we were told that he had received all of the snaps in today's practice. In addition, we were informed tonight per multiple people that Allen would indeed be the starter on Saturday.

They have to do something! I've been saying for many weeks how utterly horrible Hill is. Dude can NOT throw the ball more than five yards beyond the LoS. Most times he even tries to, it's either an INT or a horribly thrown INC.

wow, from breaking johnny's record, to being broken....

No kidding; how does that happen?

There has to be more to this story, some kind of Vince Young brain-eating virus, or maybe he's been drug-tested and can't get the juice anymore and is in withdrawals.

Sumlin's such a tool, wait for Hill to start playing bad and then suspend him.

Kenny Hill just isn't very good. They should be glad he got exposed so they can at least start giving Allen experience. Hill had a great game on opening night vs. a bad South Carolina team...that's it.
