Joe, this is now your number one priority. You must find a way to get this information to Kosier. Our very season may depend on it.

I have faith in you, Joe. You're the man who very likely introduced the shotgun formation to Tom Landry. You can do this!:D

I have been dealing with PF. I may look into this device for treatment.

Sometimes, there are simple solutions to health problems.

Many years ago, a friend of mine had Chronic lower back pain. He went to multiple Doctors, Chiropractors, massage therapists, etc.. Eventually, he discovered that he just needed to stretch his hamstrings. Now, he stretches everyday and has not a problem in over 10 years. The amazing part is that none of the Doctors thought of this solution.

amazing? Does he have to pay the docs or chiros when he does his stretches?

I did something very similar to that very subject on shotgun formation to tom landry. In 1975 in february, I found an article written by red hickey on shotgun formation, which in 1975 Hickey was a coach for the cowboys. Yet, in early 60's Red Hickey was 49ers head coach, and started the shotgun formation back then. So, I took out the 2 pages written by Hickey, went to the cowboys organization downtown back then in a yellow folder stating that I felt the shotgun formation would give roger staubach an extra 1 to 2 seconds to read defenses. I met Alicia Landry coming out of the elevator, and going to the 6th floor best I remember, was years ago back then. Coming out of the elevator, I met All Pro Guard John Wooten. He asked me what I wanted and I told him I had info i thought that would help the cowboys. Thanking me, I went into the bathroom and I met our 2nd round draft choice golden richards. Later, in an autographed book by tom landry, Landry said the same exact things that i said about giving roger the dodger more time to read defenses. In fact, a few weeks after I had given that info to the cowboys, tom landry called in red hickey and told him to work with roger staubach for the shotgun formation. Rest is history.

I did send the article to coach garrett, and another friend of mine that has more sources with the cowboys then i have.

Hey if it works, and allows kosier to play pain free and perform at a high level, then what zrinkill? :)

then what zrinkill? :)

Nothing ...... I think its great you know more about Kosiers problem than his trainers and doctors.

I also think it great how you taught Tom Landry the shotgun formation.

For once I'd actually like for something you say to really come through. Unless of course that meant we would have to keep Kosier. Come next year I think it will be time for us to part ways with him. Kosier is getting up there in age.

However, I do think that he has something left in the tank. Of course, that's only good to us if he actually comes out and puts it all out there. So in other words, if we can get a great Kosier, he is probably more than good enough for our line. The thing to me is he is one of remnants of that terrible OL we've seen the past year or two. I think that if he can just be serviceable he'll do until we can replace him. Lord only knows we finally need to pay a little more attention to our offensive line. Every year it seems like we try to just get by on it.

Your misunderstanding me, I never said I taught Landry about the shotgun formation, what I did was remind Landy that Red Hickey who ran the shotgun in 60s was now on his team. As far as trainers and doctors, there is always another way or cure sometimes for diseases, illness etc that people are unaware of or for whatever reason.

Its when you bury your head in the sand and refuse to change or consider something new then that makes a person hardheaded or wrong. You have to be willing to change and adapt new ideas or thoughts or ways or else.
