He was a tweener that they called a monster back. But some teams & Ourlad's looked at him as a LB prospect.

I didn't see this post up before I just posted about him.

I really like this player. One, he fits Parker's system, I think. And two, he fits what you want in a player with those instinct. He has some flaws, but those instincts make up for it.

Funny, I haven't memorized any names yet. But I was going through various LBs and this guy came up.

He immediately stood out to me, for what we need as far as coverage and closing speed.

So then I read and people had him as, a day 3 pick. I didn't actually think so. But multiple sources..

He's been the only player I was harping on in here.

Sounds like Will McClay should read this post, this would be an outstanding way to strengthen the middle of this defense. Styles and Louis would be tackling machines, behind these defensive tackles.

Really, between those two dudes, Thieneman, McNeill-Warren, Perkins, Kilgore, Haulcy and a few others, this is a fantastic draft class to be shopping in for a Big Nickel. I’d take any of those guys.

Really, between those two dudes, Thieneman, McNeill-Warren, Perkins, Kilgore, Haulcy and a few others, this is a fantastic draft class to be shopping in for a Big Nickel. I’d take any of those guys.

Yep, Scott and Louis are two of my favorite players in this year’s class.

I really like their mental makeup and how they play the game.

Here’s hoping that we can at least manage to get one of them!

Are we looking for a tweener? And what is “Big Nickel” in Parker’s scheme?

Not even trying to be combative, genuinely curious. Is this for only a base D? Or do you think Louis can cover the slot against 3 WR sets?

He reminds me of the kc linebacker(Nick Bolton). Not very big but tries hard and always where he should be.
