Too many coaches in one ear. I really hope he doesn't have Garrett, Callahan, Wilson and Romo trying to coach him during this one game. Stay away Tony, cause no matter how great of a comeback you had last week against the skins you should have NO say in any of the offensive scheme/playcalling. You single handedly lost the Packers game and are semi responsible for the Lions game too.
I love you Romo, but you are still a scatter brain and Orton needs no help in that department so stay away and let him play.

Weathering the initial storm. Philly will start early with bring pressure and Orton needs to make the reads and execute on the throws.

Biggest obstacle will be the Philly pass rush. I'm jealous of young guys like Cox and Logan; Dallas sure could use high draft picks on their d-line.

Orton should be listening to anyone who is willing to offer up any beneficial advice.

And yes, he should be looking to Romo for help.

OP.... Romo single handedly lost the GB game? Pls go watch some NFL football and report back.

Orton has been around long enough, not worried about that. It would be one thing with a rookie or vastly inexperianced guy Orton has the experiance and will be fine.

That I agree with, Orton not as good at avoiding rush as Romo is so I think the run game will be critical to keep Orton in good down and distance situation.

We're not playing Seattle or the 85 Bears. Orton just needs to overcome the early jitters and the offense should be fine.

What are you expecting Romo to tell him? "Kyle, you should have feinted to your right, spun to your left, scrambled into the open spot and made that touchdown throw!"

I think this is just another silly excuse to bash Romo.

Yes, Murray will have to have a Jamal Charles-like day.

I think Orton is a solid QB but the biggest issue could be rust. He has basically taken no snaps the last 2+ years. That's a long time to be away from the action and get used to the bullets flying at him. Hopefully, he can overcome any rust issues and play at a reasonably high level. I don't think we can count on the defense slowing down the Eagles wtih any regularity so we need the offense to be extremely productive.

I agree about the Coaches, simple game plan that he can be 100% confident in and go execute and see what happens.

However, the quote above is so wrong, I can't say what I want to without being banned. Can you explain your thought process? Both games the Offense and Tony were good. But more specifically, Tony didn't hold on 3rd down causing the clock to stop in DET and he didn't allow the GB offense with a Back up QB score on every possession in the 2nd half. If the D could have forced one punt or turnover in the 2nd half we win.. To blame Romo for that is just well I will leave that at that for now.

Start of the game, if he survives then know where Murray is at all times.
Dump to Murray whenever it starts to break down. When the line gives you time make them pay.
This game is worth so much to Orton, it can put him back on the map.

Yet another thread to rip on Romo. Well, at least it's an original angle.
