I'm a big fan of this kid and think he should be a consideration for the boys. I think he comes in a starts day one for us as an SOLB/rush end. This kid has it all IMO. He is a great blitzer that is good at point of attack with great pursuit. Yet he has the skills to drop into coverage. I think he would really help us cover TE's and backs in the flat, which has proven to be difficult for this defense. Here are some highlights and game tape of him.

Yeah he probably is but I see him fitting really well in a von miller kind of roll. I think k we mmight see more lber blitzes if we play more man.

They should use Bruce Carter in the Von Miller role. He is a good pass rusher but they rarely use him in that role.

X you are a good poster, but I have to wonder why you assume Kiffin is here in 2014? I dont see it. I do see a 4-3 though.

I like the guy to and see him more as a WOLB in the Tampa 2 whoch would move Carter to SOLB which I think he belongs in this scheme. Another LB I like for the weak side is Shazier from OU and Jones from FSU.

Kiffin might not be here but I bet Jerry keeps the scheme. No way does he change the scheme again.

I love this player but unless he can play DE, I don't see us drafting him. We need DL help, DT in particular, in the worst way. Guess we'll see.

Wouldn't have to. Kiffiin is on a one year only deal. If jerry wants to he can just let him walk away and not resign.

I think Jerry is very cognizant of not wanting to keep switching schemes on the players. I don't think Marinelli will take the job unless Kiffin voluntarily retires.

I think Jerry sits down with Kiffin and tells him they aren't going to offer him a new deal and Kiffin will retire. Also you can get another DC than marnell.

The question is scheme vs talent. The defense was not good last year or this year with different schemes/coordinators. I more concerned about adding talent that can stay healthy than the dcoordinator.

The o-coordinator is a different story, IMO. They have enough talent on offense to be better.

Well this kid is talented and would round out our lber corp nicely IMO. Biggest problem with our defense is the lack of pressure. A dynamic player that can blitz and cover is always welcome on my team.
