I think this was by far Kyle Wilbur's best game as a pro and is just further proof that linebacker is a more natural position for him. He showed great burst and instincts in getting in the backfield and causing some havoc. He wasn't perfect, as evidenced by some of Jacob's runs, but he definitely looked better than he ever has at defensive end. I wouldn't mind seeing him take some snaps from Ernie Sims as the season winds down.

Totally agree. I think Holloman starts next year, but after this game you have to think the SAM will be fine with Holloman and Wilbur there.

At worst it gives us depth at LB. Only problem is it reduces our depth on the D-line. The only young prospect on the D-line we have is Tyrone Crawford who hasn't played in 2 years.

He was real solid today. I think he had at least two TFL. There may be some hope for him yet!

Kyle played good, was real happy I think since he had time at DE we should use him like a Miller who plays LB and pass rushes every once ina while, well almost all the time lol

He is very physical on that edge. When he crashes down on runs he crumples them.

Going forward he seemed unstoppable.

Didn't notice him in coverage.

Good game overall

The move to DE was a dismal failure, but he still has a long way to go as a LB too.

I miss Sean Lee.

But if we can get these two wins w/o him and give some other guys some work...could work out for us.

On Football Night in America it was said that he could play against Oakland, I don't know if that's true or not.

I'd prefer if he doesn't. We should...SHOULD....be able to beat Oakland without him. Then we get the 10 days off.

Time to get healthy for the stretch run.

I wouldn't say terrible but he is so slow to react and takes bad angles. He took himself out of a lot of running plays.

So terrible then? I mean reacting to plays and taking good angles is pretty important for a LB.
