Even though it's only a rockstar co-developed game the influences are obvious and looking at their track record this should be pretty damn good.

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I will be buying this game first things Tuesday. Looks absolutely amazing, and as you said, has Rockstar influences all over it. Been waiting for this one, and Fable 3 on PC for a while now. I'll be a busy gamer nerd next week.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. Rockstar always knocks it out of the park with their games and this is something I could be playing for months. I really miss some of the the adventure games from the 90s where you had to do more than shoot and drive.

I'm no big fan of Rockstar, I thought the combo of GTA4 and GFWL was just awful. Deleted from my drive, not sure if I even got out of the tutorial.

However.....this looks like a game version of the movie LA Confidential, which definitely peaks my interest. Hope it's got an interface that isn't terrrible.

From the gameplay trailers i've seen it looks similar to the RDR interface which was an improved version of the one in GTA 4

Thanks for the info. RDR rocked, from what I saw of it (don't have the console, so didn't play it much). That's a good sign.

I'm going to have to check it out. I enjoyed the Godfather and Godfather II from EA. Maybe it's time to play a cop for a change. I love the old cars.

Got it yesterday. The facial animations and voice acting are probably the greatest ever in game history.

I truly suck major stones at interrogating though. I've already had to restart some of the very first cases. I don't think this is a good game to play while drinking because you really have to pay attention to the details.

After half a bottle of Svedka last night my "intuition" started to fade haha.

HAHAHA thats hilarious man yea i love the attention to detail in this game. im not too bad of an interrogator myself, then again i havnt drank half a bottle of Svedka n tried =P

I forgot to add that the game is pretty damn amazing.

A little repetitive, but the story, characters, and variety in the crime scenes makes it a truly great experience.

Never played anything even remotely like it before. 9/10 for me.

I have a hard time reading the faces as well and I'm not drinking. :laugh2:

just restart case LOL. whats the fun in that? should have disabled that option to being able to go back and correct your mistake when you already know that correct answer the game wants to advance. dumb

It certainly looks amazing. I didn't pick it up, and probably won't be for quite some time (I got some other things to do prior to the three games coming out this fall that I already have on pre-order), but it certainly looks like it could be a fun game.
