Cason's a 2nd round talent. I hope they try to trade down before they take him at 28.
Oh you did not just say that about my crush.

I think he's the best CB in this draft class. JMO.

Well, any mock draft that doesn't have Brandon Albert in the first round is probably not a draft that I would put much stock in. If he were there at 22, I'd be sick if we didn't take him. Nobody will probably agree but the Big Uglies are never very sexy picks.

My opinion too.

Some players have practice speed, and some have game speed.

I think Cason plays fast when it counts and has great skills.

I'd be happy with that draft, though Mendenhall getting past Houston, Arizona, Chicago and Detroit may be difficult.

Mendenhall at 22 and Albert at 28 would be sweet. Of course, I don't see either dropping to those positions.

I'd break necks to get to the podium with Albert's name on a card if he were there at 22. At 22, he's easily the best player on the board IMO but I agree with you. He won't be there.

Let them be jealous. It's all about Antoine Cason.

Well Owen's going to be jealous, and you wouldn't like Owen when he's jealous.

Some people just discount drafting OG's in the first round. I believe that kid is the real deal. Someone will take him, that teams fan base will moan and groan, next thing you know he is a multiple time pro bowler.

I'm not nearly as high on Mendenhall as most others are. I think he's way overrated.

Why is that, Rack?

You and I for years now, typically agree on who we like in the draft... not on Mendenhall though. I think he's got the physical talent as well as the intangibles to be a good player.

I'm just wondering what you don't like about him.

That is sweet. Why anyone wouldn't want Cason in the first round is absolutely beyond me.

Cason is great value at 28 and would love that pick. Albert is going to be really good and he can play OT too.

I think he's a borderline late first / early 2nd rounder.

Are you saying that's his 'talent level' or that's where you think he'll go?

Why anyone wouldn't want Mendenhall before #22 is kinda beyond me.

I agree. I get the feeling he is going to be the best out of this CB class. I'll take this draft any day of the week. I know I'm dreaming, but wouldn't it be great if we pull Roy williams from Detroit for a second rounder. That would make my day.

I wouldn't ever draft a RB higher than late 1st round. They're just not that important to an offense and you can find serviceable backs in later rounds.

I just don't think his "abilities" will translate to the NFL. I see him (and Stewart, but moreso Stewart) as a Ron Dayne type. Great college runner, average-at-best NFL runner.

Shut up. You've lost your priveledge (sp?) to judge RBs since you swore by JuJo being better than MB3 all season, only cuz he was the "Starter".

You don't have the common sense and/or two good working Eyeballs to see the obvious in MB3 > JuJo then you certainly don't have the common sense and/or two good working eyeballs to see the not so obvious.
