Does he remind you of Jamal Charles?
How would you all feel about the Cowboys drafting him in say....Round 4 if he is on the board?

He's a talented runner, but has the worst receiving resume of any RB in the entire draft.
So, J Charles he is not.
The kid has nice skills though.

I'd love to have him in the 3rd or 4th.

Dynamic player that this offense could use.

as a lifelong Horns fan, and a huge fan of Charles (im still ruing us taking Felix over Charles)......this kid is no Charles, not on his best day and Jamaal's worst.

I am a Baylor grad from back in the day. I think Lache has quickness of anyone in this draft and in open space he is one of the better players in this draft as well. With that being said,I am not sold on him as a pro prospect.

One, he played in a offense where he had tons of space to run. Two, he is not a disciplined runner. He can get away with it a lot of times in college because he can outrun defenses who are spread out or tired. I would say McCoy from Philly is not a disciplined runner either but Lache takes it up a notch. While some of these runs turn into highlights, I just don't think they translate into the pros. Lastly, while he is great in space, I did not think he gets the most out of his other carries. He would have a 2 yard, carry, 3 yard carry, 1 yard carry and then a 50 yard run. You don't get those big holes in the pros.

I am rooting for him because he is a Bear and I am anxious to see how his game translates to the pro but I am a little doubtful he is going to be a starting running back. Of course I have been wrong before.

No....that distinction belongs to Andre Williams(Boston College). I don't think I've ever seen a RB w/ as bad of hands invited to the combine as his. Let's just call him what he is...a 2 down back. And who ever decides to draft him......good luck

Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan. I've followed the kid since he was a five-star recruit, and I feel like he's a hype machine who constantly disappoints. The talent is unquestionably there, but he's just lacking "it."

Yeah.
I think, unlike Williams, Seastrunk's lack of receiving numbers had more to do with lack of chances. They just didn't throw to him much....but that one catch and run in the video looked pretty smooth

I'm glad you said it first. I completely agree with your analysis. There were times when Glascow Martin was more effective because of his straight line running and directness to the hole. Lache is the guy that breaks a big one occasionally, but he will also turn a 3 yard gain into a 5 yard loss. If he can become a more disciplined runner and he is used properly he will be a nice player. He is a guy that might thrive in New Orleans replacing Sproles primarily because Payton will use him correctly. I don't think he's worth more than a 4th rounder to us.
