LaConfora: Commanders sign Pinkston

The WR position is so dire for the Commanders at the moment that Art just gives the Commanders a slight advantage over the Cowboys.

He's such a homer........ :puke:

The RedStinks do not deserve this type of front office...Gibbs is totally going senile and the Midget is spoon feeding his bad habits!

I have to feel sorry for them...I cannot help it.

Gibbs needs to go back to Nascar where he can watch his cars go:mouse:

That Lloyd trade -- and subsequent huge contract -- looks better every day.

Finally someone Jansen can block.

Guys,

Vinny C is earning his money: we have no competent 2nd receiver, despite paying about 60 million to Lloyd and Randel El; we have absolutely no offensive line depth--and now we're bringing in Todd Stinkston because our number 3 receiver who moonlights as a rapper (or a football player depending on your perspective) can't play because of shin splints.

seriously, the coaches really must not like brandon lloyd. unless he puts up 800 yards and 8 tds, i think hes off this team next year. weve signed about every receiver in the universe over the past 2 months.

You know what's really sad?

We still haven't replaced Rod Gardner.

Someone mentioned they brought him in to learn about Philly, and this was a reply:

Finally, we will fully understand the Eagles' 2004 game plan.

We traded two high picks for Lloyd and gave him a contract extension (before he played a down for us) worthy of a number one receiver.

We can't cut him yet because A) the cap hit would be severe and B) it would be too damn embarrassing.

OK, Hooper has several quotes in this thread that are just gems based on the truthfulness of the situation.

This was my thought as well.

Despite Stinkston seemingly burning us for one big one everytime we played them,......why?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He automatically become the tallest reciever on the team though!

The NFC East couldn't go an offseason without inbreeding.

Absolutely... we don't need no stinkin' linemen (offense OR defense). We need to stack up on WR's.... in Saunder's playbook, page 13.... he has a 15-WR formation.
I think that's a page from Spurrier's playbook. Of course Spurrier's playbook consists of one page.

One of those guys also wrote that they should sign FredEx, so they could have all of the Eagles WR rejects on their roster. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You just have to use interpret it using the Art scale. If he gives the Commanders a slight advantage, that means the Cowboys are head and shoulders better. If he gives the Commanders a sizable advantage, that means the Cowboys are slightly better.

Charles Rodgers is anxiously waiting in the wings for his opportunity.

How a guy goes from a low 4.3 forty to a high 4.6 baffles me.. I didn't know THC affected fast twitch muscles....

Don't laugh, man! I thought I read somewhere that Stinkston was getting feelers from the Battlewings of the AFL2 to hook up with QC. Hey, the guy can play some football now!

:eek::

Give 'em props for signing on in the NFC East. I figured he'd try and stay a long way away from Roy.

I haven't read the whole thing though, so not sure if Art chimed in.
This is my favorite response so far.

I don't like this move more than the next guy/girl, and I couldn't stand him as an eagle either, if fact I hated him....but once he scores his first touchdown everyone around here is gonna be kissing his ***.
Here's a guy who still thinks Brandon Lloyd is about to break out. Or that David Patten was about to.
