Zeke was bad, but so was the Oline. The Oline was bad. The play calling was bad. Runs getting stuffed up the middle, so let's just keep running up the middle. Dak kept forcing the ball to Dez. It was annoying. Tried the back shoulder fade with no fade. The defense couldn't stop the run for the life of them. That opened up everything else. That opening was critical because we had too many injuries in what was an already inexperienced backfield. I started Emmanuel Sanders in daily because I knew it was gonna be all about him as he would be dealing with rookies the whole game. The coaching staff did not see this apparently. Lack of imagination in getting to the quarterback. It was DLAW or none.
Zeke not going after that was bad but it's pretty low on the list for me.
This is the media kicking the man while he is already having his name dragged through the mud.
Reality is, Dak is a second year player still growing, and overcoming situations like this requires experience. Given the state of this D, he's gonna have plenty of chances to overcome deficits, especially if teams realize they could stack the box and just make Dak beat them (not all teams have this luxury, it's a bronco specialty, but it's an antidote)
Top 4 reasons we lost:
1) bad coaching
2) couldn't stop the run
3) injuries
4) our biggest strength, Oline, was pretty weak last night, causing a chain reaction on offense

X) Zeke (he was bad, but more of a result of the Oline, than his own doing)
