Ladies & Gentlemen... It is Commanders Week

How about we discuss a guy so wrapped in cocaine that he interrupted a Hall of Fame career and never got back on track? His name was Dexter Manley, and he without a doubt was one of the most disruptive DEs ever to play the game. If you like pure football talent, you liked watching Dexter Manley. Not only was he a great player, he was engaging and fun. He also had a very dark companion, cocaine.

He was also maybe the dumbest human being to ever walk the earth. He had to have playbooks read to him because he was illiterate.

ah Deadskins week... their fans must be excited that they are playing their SB so early in the year

Way to make a mountain out of a molehill. The nearest a football player for these two teams gets to "attempted murder" on another teammate was Michael Westbrook on Stephen Davis.

Funny, how even the victim in "scissorsgate" admitted they were horsing around.

I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said, "If you keep telling lies about my record, I will be forced to tell the truth about yours".

Hos tell the truth and shame the devil.

Ladies and Germs...it's Super Bowl week here in DC/MD/VA for the Deadskin faithful! They're coming outta the woodworks today beating their chests about some miniscule two game winning streak and the "dominating" win in FedEX last year against us! Even the radio hosts are ripping us; hating on our "America's Team" moniker, calling most of us fans "bandwagoneers" and "idiotic", questioning our team's character (b/c of the Pac, TO, and Tank signings *yawn*) and talking about some "chinks in our armor" that they think can be exploited! I've been in this area all my life and it still shocks me how much more the Skins' fans gets pumped up for their annual drubbing than we do!

LOL thats too funny.

Snyder would have signed owens in a heartbeat had he been given the opportunity!!! They tried to trade away half there draft for chad johnson and he looks horrendous this season.

Anybody in the media who spends time talking about the americas team nickname is either just a screaming idiot looking for attention or just not that smart.

and there are 61 guys on this team with the ps. 2 of them have questionable character. I am waiting for a media outlet to talk about the other 59. These guys use their success and celebrity to help people all the time.

Sunday cant get here fast enough.

You don't think that McIver was paid off to say that? Because the Dallas Morning News reported McIver was paid 6 figures to keep Irvin from going to jail for 20 years.

Well, yeah, of course. I don't know how I didn't know that everything that is reported as rumor in a newspaper is true. Geez. :p
Oh you don't read newspapers. Well that explains quite a lot.

*Blinks* Ummm...where does it say I DON'T read newspapers? I don't recall my post indicating that, at all.

My post is that I don't necassarily go around BELIEVING every RUMOR that is printed in a newspaper.

The newspapers have been known to post rumors about all sorts of things it doesn't mean I'm going to take it as 100% truth, anymore than I would a report on an internet message board.

The Dallas Morning News reported it as fact, not rumor. Now, maybe you don't believe them, but this wasn't in the gossip column.

I Believe it's mention in Pearlman's book that McIver was paid off by Jerry.

Granted it that it does absolutely look legit. But being as that I wasn't there, and they have no credible evidence to show here other than to say 'a source close' to the deal.

The other thing, for me, is wouldn't the police get heavily involved in this if they believed there was any truth to the idea that he'd violated a probation that would get him 20 years in prison?

I don't know. Just seems like a lot of speculation backed up with a lot more speculation.

Of course you can't take the word for Jerry, or Irvin, or McIver on this either because they're involved.

A newspaper reported Dewey had won over Truman too. Did you even bother to read the part where the deal that the article was reporting was denied by Jerry Jones and that both sides confirmed there were no negative feelings? To me, that is stronger than the allegation which has no proof.

No they didn't. Do you know what "allegation" means?

Dude, this is Junior High logic. Stop setting yourself up to look foolish.
