These PFF mock drafts crack me up, because stuff like this never happens. But for fun, imagine this scenario:

Dak and Zeke continue their playing careers together in Houston. Dak goes as part of a trade to acquire the #2 overall pick. Zeke is swapped for Dameon Pierce plus picks.

WR Jameson Williams is acquired from the Lions for a song (swapped a 3rd for a 5th), and we're bringing the fullback back - Big Mike used FB John Kuhn in Green Bay.

I just took their highest rated QB at #2 - Bryce Young - and went from there. I'm more of a CJ Stroud guy but I'm probably biased as an OSU alum.

In order:

QB Bryce Young (Alabama)
Edge BJ Ojulari (LSU)
LB Daiyan Henley (Washington State)
DT Jaquelin Roy (LSU)
T Jaelyn Duncan (Maryland)
S Troy Dean III (Florida)
WR Dontayvion Wicks (Virginia)
RB Kenny McIntosh (Georgia) *not extending Pollard after his surgery*
QB Jaren Hall (BYU)
FB Hunter Luepke (North Dakota State)

Git 'er done, Jerrah! :muttley:

It's all fun and games until we find some real players for this team. The draft can really make or break you. I see some offensive weapons in this draft, too. And if I'm the Cowboys, I'm carefully taking advantage of that.

If we don't sign Pollard, I keep going back to Izzy Abinikanda to fill that big threat role. Plus, he's a little more versatile than Pollard in the passing game, I suspect, if you were to line him up in the slot or even outside.
