It's clear that they are coming together in dominating fashion.

I love it! Before the game, all the Giants boards kept saying how easy it was gonna be for them to score points. They predicted 30-40 points easy! LOL! 13 freakin' points! And to think Nguyen didn't even play and our d had to withstand the 100 degree heat! Beautiful! We are getting better and better. I can't wait to see what Burnett can do once he gets comfortable, and Spears too.

Just think how good the defensive unit could be if we had a functional FS on the roster. We've given up a lot of pass yardage on simple blown assignments, mostly because of shoddy play from the FS.

The DLine, particularly the depth, is greatly improved. The LBs are ok. Maybe James finally gets it. Shanle appears to be at least an average LB, which is good considering how we acquired him. Hopefully Burnett can step up and show something before the year is over.

Defense is there..........but it almost seemed the Giants played their cards close to vest until absolutly needed to get Schockey 1 on 1 vrs. Roy on the drag pattern to score and tie it up............

Teams will continue to try and get Roy into long coverage patterns at crucial times

Its a chess game between coaches and substitution packages......

You're absolutely right! Priority next year is a PRIME FS in Free agency! The only missing piece for our Defense.

The defense played very well. The coaching staff has to improve their coverage and blitz selection when the game is tight

The key to the defensive domination the past two games is TOP look at our 40mins of top out of 63total minutes that is just domination. The D is playing lights out when its on the field though especially today against the giants on 3rd down meant it was an automatic 4th down =P that is terrific.

3-4 saw a lot of Fergy, Canty, Spears. Mixed up 4-3 looks with Ware up and down. 4 sacks noted.....

Shanle has totally handled ILB with Dat out - no skips and arguably better pass coverage.....

I agree, we certainly could use a legitimate FS on this team. While Roy may be very good in the box, in coverage, he doesn't play the same caliber of football as he does in the box.

The defense has been very good. So good, in fact, that you can look at the number of people who panic at the thought of giving up a single touchdown.
