Twitter: La'el Collins vs Myles Garrett

The people that said he couldn't play RT in the NFL either never watched him play, don't know what they're looking at or just assume that's what the team believes and they want to make sure they're a good fan.

Collins is a Pro Bowl RT in the NFL.

I can't imagine a scenario where Collins wouldn't have been twice the player Free was last year. I would seriously give Collins every opportunity to win the RT spot and become even better running the ball.

Of course if that was the plan we would have kept Leary at guard. That was a poor decision to let him go unless you think Cooper will regain his dominant form.

Larry Allen was nasty on the outside too, know your history.

If that was a joke, I'm laughing. But if you're talking about him being able to block from anywhere on the line, you're right. LA is the best ever and it's not super close beside Tyron since he's so young.

Collins isn't yet even a Pro Bowl guard in the NFL.

And that was while playing between an All Pro LT and Center.

Risen likes to state his opinions as facts and then act coy when it doesn't work out as planned. Between that type of bluster and his repetitive jokes he is cliche at this point.

He as an all pro LT. Just as nasty.

Owned.

I would agree, but nobody knows if Cooper will even be decent for us. I'd also like Chaz to be given a shot.
Man, being a Carolina fan, it's hard for me to fathom Cooper's performance in the NFL. This guy was an absolute stud in college. I'm hoping some of these all-pros that's around him can reignite his spark. He's too talented to be this bad.

Are we just going to gloss over the fact of a senior versus a freshman? I'd say three years of body development and experience is a big deal.

Not a slight on Collins in the least, but let's at least get proper context.

Chaz has been given a shot already and will be given another one. The guy simply cant stay healthy.

He handled Garrett easily. He should be our RT. Move Cooper to LG.

In all fairness, that's one play. Show me the entire game and then let's decide on who owned who.

Not saying that this is wrong, but it is a very small sample size.

FYI, he was beat out at RT by Doug Free.

It makes the most sense for plan A to be Collins at LG and Green at RT. Green was really good in two starts at LT last season. If if if he can stay healthy, then that's the best lineup.

I don't think plan B or C is to have Collin move to RT with Cooper at LG.

Good teams go though scenario planning. If this, then this.
If Green Healthy (Green, Collins).
If Green not healthy, then how good is Cooper? If Cooper good, then Collins to RT (unless Bell or Cleary magically become really good).
If Cooper marginal, then live with Bell, Cleary or a UDFA at RT.

This.

Everyone should listen and immediately stop drinking the one-play-kool-aid.
