Hmm, interesting. That creates a logjam at PF. I guess when Bynum heals they will throw out a lineup of Fisher (PG), Kobe (SG), Gasol (SF), Odom (PF), and Bynum (C). They definitely have upgraded their frontcourt with Gasol and the progression of Andrew Bynum.

I like Crittendon and the picks but not Kwame and it also clear some cap room.

We also traded Stomile Swift for Jason Collins.

I like it.

Gasol is NOT a SF. He's a PF or C.

i see it more being Fisher(PG), kobe(SG), Odom(SF), Bynum/Gasol (pf/c)

but i wouldnt be surprised if odom went to the bench

If Bynum comes back and plays like he was before he was injured, we will see you in the Western Conference Championship and I put all my chips on the Lakers.

Good luck to Pau but I'm glad he's gone. He whines to much and is soft.

That's true - Odom would probably be better suited to SF. But the idea of him as a 6th man could be a good one.

gasol is a good player and this defenetly makes the lakers better....gasol>>>kwame brown. However, the lakers will still be lucky to get out of the first round. More than likely they will play phoenix(amare stoudawhinner), san antonio(TD), dallas(_Irk), utah(Boozer), or new orleans(chandler) in the first round, and each of those teams have a big that gasol struggles against. im not saying the lakers wont compete in the first round, but it will be hard for them to get past it.

There is no doubt Gasol is better than Brown. Good luck in LA.

The West is so deep this year, I have no idea who's going to win the conference.

yup, if you are good enought to win the big boy conference, it wont matter who comes out of the JV league, the western team is gonna win. To win the west this year is gonna take a great team with good defense, metally tough, and with a good inside game and great coaching.
