Lamar Odom started "Cathy's Kids" in honor of him grandmother who died of cancer. It's primary goal is for cancer research. It raised 2.2 million from 2003-2012. It spent 1.3 million of that on AAU basketball teams run by the best man in his wedding(who is also the treasurer and made $72,000 a year). The IRS tax records went on to say Cathy's Kids had never made a single donation to cancer research. They confront Odom's agent, who never returns the calls. They confront Odom who says he gives back to kids, period. They call him out on that, and the use of money to AAU basketball but zero for cancer research and he claims its all false, even though he signed the tax form himself and is the president of the charity.
When pressed for details about some of the expenses, including DeGregorio's salary, listed on the IRS forms, Odom repeatedly responded by saying, "It's my money," and refusing to explain any further.
Uh, no, Lamar it's not your money, morally or legally.
