I can articulate very easily why CMac had no business being MVP and it very simply is the Ravens game. CMac had a good game that game (actually very good) and their offense was terrible. You cant be the MVP if you cannot carry your own unit when you are playing well.

This carry thing always puzzles me. Outside of Mahomes and even that did not work in the SB when he had no OLine, who can do that in the nfl. NOW you DO have the responsibility to be profesional and do your best when the rest of the team is not; and that is where Dak truly looked bad as he stank it up worse than any other player on the team

If Lamar has a bad game the offense of the Ravens will look bad. If Mahomes has a bad game the offense of the Chiefs looks bad. If both players have a great game the offense will at the very least look good. The team can have drops and the offense will still be successful. CMac had a great game and the 49ers offense looked terrible. You cant be the MVP or Most Valuable Player when you are not the deciding factor on whether the offense looks good or not.
