Lamb is a Lion!!! That's the one thing I don't understand about Dak. Rodger had Drew P. Danny White had Drew P. Troy had Michael. When these quarterbacks needed a big play they always look to their guys. Dak doesn't do this and it's mind boggling why he doesn't. Montana and Rice etc. Dak has been the only quarterback I've ever seen with a Champion wide receiver who doesn't go to him in the clutch. Or when the offense bogs down-he's not your first look. I'm not saying Dak sucks-not saying Dak is great. I'm just saying CeeDee ought to have a talk with him. CeeDee is the man though.....

Most receptions in a season by a Cowboys player:

Michael Irvin (1995): 111
Jason Witten (2012): 110
CeeDee Lamb (2023): 109
CeeDee Lamb (2022): 107

Most receiving yards in a season by a Cowboys player:

Michael Irvin (1995): 1,603
Michael Irvin (1991): 1,523
CeeDee Lamb (2023): 1,424

10 for 200, so he can get them in 16 and there's no need for an asterisk. Of course, I'll take 3 for 200, too.

Wow Irvin was that dude. He did that when there where only 16 game seasons and when we ran the ball quite a bit with Emmitt Smith. In 1995 Emmitt had 1,773 rushing yards, 25 rushing TD. And 62 receptions for 375 yards. (He had 7 fumbles that year too).
I dgaf what the stats say.

Irvin was 2nd only to Jerry Rice while playing in the same era. Guy was absolutely unstoppable- especially when a play was needed to be had.

He also had a different connection with his QB. He always knew (slightly hyperbolic) where the ball was going to be.

I agree with you. Id rather lose trying to get the ball to my best player, than losing with guys who aren't my best playmaker.

Back up the brinks truck CD is getting paid
I know and he deserves it, however I'm not sure how paying Dak more paying Parsons more paying Lamb more will suddenly make us better and that's exactly what we're about to do. They all earned it, but there's still a salary cap.

Question is how do you pay Dak, Cee Dee, Paraons and Tyler smith (in a couple years). One or two of those guys won’t be resigned. So, who’s that going to be?

Throw in Bland too
Ahhh yes. Knew I was leaving someone out. Can’t resign all these guys. On top of this will have a LT to replace as Tyron for as much as I love him and has had a HOF career is probably on his last year. He needs to keep his health and enjoy the rest of his life.
