Lamb embaresses Ramsey with route

I would've like to have seen Ramsey try to tackle Lamb after the catch... mano a mano
Lamb is hard to take down. And ramsey seems like he had been in the league for a minute. About 6 years now. Against a 2nd year stud WR.

It looked to me like Ramsey was just going through the motions. In a real game, it would have been much more closely contested.

That being said, I like what I see from Lamb.
Yeah he knew the route and ran it well. Guessing it was Gilbert throwing so that’s good. Do it in a game and ramsey has to make a tackle and Lamb ain’t no easy way.

I agree with those who mentioned this is practice not a game and it is different. Having said that I have no doubts about Lambs ability as a all around WR, not just a slot guy but a guy who can attack you lined up outside.

Looks like he’s in a coverage that the goal is to not let anything behind him and he’ll give up whatever underneath.

Nothing to brag about here.

If anyone made a good play here it was Gilbert recognizing the coverage and knowing Lamb would be where is supposed to be on time.

To be honest, it didnt seem like Lamb was too hard to take down last year. His YAC ability from college hasnt transferred over yet. I expect that to change, but as of right now, Lamb is not a beast with the YAC stuff.

Good play but I wouldn't be embarrassed by anything if I were Ramsey. His coverage was fine, it was practice and it was just a good read by Gilbert + Lamb. I'd guess it was an option route based on no safety help + Ramsey's technique.
