A bunch of the players getting “injured” so when we get blown out Sunday they can say “yeah I was a bit injured/tight so I couldn’t play my best”.

Or maybe they’re just trying to get a little “injured” to avoid playing time and the embarrassment of a 60 to zip blowout come Sunday.
You speaking from experience?

A lot of injuries these first few weeks in the NFL. It's a long season and Lamb doesnt need to practice. His QB does though!

Cowboys need to go get Justin Rogers back from the Bengals practice squad!

WTH are they waiting for, especially now with Mazi's back tightening up. Back issues tend to linger. What are you waiting for Jerry? Get the young and healthy NT back which you originally drafted this year, especially since he's always wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy!!!!!!!

I'm thinking we went 4-1 without Dak. That's on record. We're not going 4-1 without Lamb under any circumstances. I don't think Dak sucks. But he's not the player that is going to make up for talent loss.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'm more confident with Rush and a healthy roster, than I am with Dak without Lamb.
Cooper Rush played a terrible stretch of teams where the most points the defense gave up was 17. And he got exposed against the first good team he faced, the Eagles. He faced zero adversity. You really think Cooper Rush with this defense vs the stretch of games we have coming up would be a good thing? We'd lose every single game by double digits.

You can’t be serious. If we can’t run the ball on Sunday and were stuck with Cooper Rush having an air it out we’re almost sure to get blown out again. You must really think Dak sucks to make a comment like that.
I think you’re missing his point. Rush is not on Dak’s level, but has shown he can pinch hit with a motivated team to help him. The Cowboys have nothing to replace CeeDee if he can’t play.

Well, Cincinnati was one of those teams. I think they won 12 games that year. But let's say you're right. We go 1-3 or 2-2 with Rush over the next 4 games. Will we do any better without Lamb and Dak at QB?

I believe they're trying to be cautious with him because they have a game on Sunday and then have to play again on Thursday.

He’s not going to be able to pinch hit and have success with this team unless our defense plays lights out and we have a solid running game. When we got by with him a couple of years ago, it was because our defense was playing great and we ran the ball well. We never gave up more than 17 points in the games we won with him. We beat the Rams on the road and he only passed for 100 yards. If we didn’t have Dak for the Ravens and had to go with Cooper Rush we would almost certainly get destroyed. No way do we win a game against Lamar Jackson with Henry in the backfield with Cooper Rush as our QB. This is not the Cowboys team he pinch hit with a couple years ago. We have a much better chance of winning on Sunday without CeeDee than Dak. You can’t compare losing your starting QB with a receiver. We may have to score 30+ to beat the Ravens on Sunday if our defense can’t hold up and we couldn’t do that without Dak.

Oh come o. KJJ. It was sarcasm. Others got it
It doesn’t matter this isn’t a Dak thread. A comment like that could get it started. Some here are looking for every opportunity to bash him and derail a thread. There’s a reason they’re trying to put an end to it on this board.

Did somebody pee in your coffee this morning?

And you know any thread no matter what turns into a Dak thread. Even a thread about Aubrey on special teams.

That was two years ago when our defense was playing great and we had a solid running game. Stop living in the past! We never gave up more than 17 points in those games we won with Cooper Rush. We won a game against the Rams on the road where he only had 100 yards passing. Our pass rush was on pace to break the 84 Bears sack record that year. You’re kidding yourself if you think we would be better off with him against the Ravens. That’s laughable!
