sounds great BUT the only thing we really care about record-wise is the post season. Lets top off a great receiving year with a couple wins in the playoffs, THEN that record means alot more. Otherwise, its kinda moot.

They also got an extra game the last 3 years, with 17 game seasons. I am not sure how much that impacts the stats, even though it’s still impressive.

He'd have the most catches after 5 years because Michael Thomas got hurt his 5th year after catching 92, 104, 125, and 149 balls from Drew Brees his first 4 years. Thomas had 40 before getting hurt leaving him at 510. After 4 years, Thomas had 470 catches. CeeDee after 4 has 395 and Jefferson has 392 of his own and needs 119 balls to claim the same record. So if above 116, CeeDee can't be more than 2 catches behind Jefferson to own the record outright.

Not sold on the run game being that much better. So, I can see him getting close to that many catches this year.
