Did he return kicks in preseason? I’m not sure I want to trust him with that just because he’s quick.

Can’t race to the end zone if you muffed it.

He did not. He only had those handful of snaps in the 2nd preseason game.

He also only returned 3 Kicks at Texas. I don’t think he will be first in line to be out there.

It’ll likely be Tolbert and Thomas (who returned several kicks last season).
 
We might be looking at a loss. Unless we stick to the run heavy offense. We don't need Dak passing alot Sunday. He'll get hurt. Run Williams and Blue alot
 
As long as Mazi stays healthy. A healthy scratch that is.

It’s gotta be the gameplan. But then again, our defense is trash.. so we will need to score a lot of points. Ugh.

Chaz Green played well in limited snaps. Then when forced to start we saw what happened lol

Yep, and try to minimize the damage. Meaning, play keep away. Keep our defense off the field as much as we can. Maximize our drives. Touchdowns over fgs. Chew the clock up. Which means a heavy dose of Williams and Blue. Safe efficient passes. Dak might not have time to get into his drops to make his reads. Lots of 2-3 step drop back timing routes. Quick hitters. Running back screens, bubble screens, safe bootleg rollout passes. This will be one of those type games. If we go out here and have a business as usual smug plan, we will have problems getting Dak hit. Delayed draws will work great against an aggressive defense like the Jets who come in desperate for a win. They are at home so they will hit us with the full Monty. A slow, sluggish start will get us behind early, then we become one dimensional. We don't want that. Flus needs to be creative Sunday. I'm talking corner blitzes, delayed blitzes, and we can't expect Sanborn to spy on Fields. That's laughable. We will need a guy like Luifau out there to spy. Shemar James might not be able to handle that responsibility. He needs more reps yet.
 
If Eberflus fails to make substantial concessions with the plan and line up, we will lose and it may be ugly afterwards. Might be fired come Monday. Hoping he can show his value.
