Dunbar does something once a blue moon but yet he is suppose to be this valuable piece to our team. That is hilarious. The guy is always injured

Dunbar made impact plays
That makes a big difference
Sadly we didn't have another guy who could make those plays

I agree
Got hurt returning a kick that should never have been returned

By someone who never should have been returning kicks in the first place, if they were going to make him a major piece of the offense.

His injury definitely hurt the team. It was very obvious those first few games how important he was to what Dallas wanted to do Offensively.

and yet preseason, as we looked over the crowded RB roster list...it seemed to be consensus that Dunbar was the odd man out. Most thought that DMac could give us the pass route options and the rb snaps that Dunbar could and cross over into a everydown back if needed. Once Dunbar went down, the wheel routes for big gains up the sidelines totally disappeared----I looked at DMac with very near the speed of Dunbar and a bigger target as a equal if not better option for those Wheel routes, especially with weeden there (arm strength etc). Its a route that can be cleared for a safe throwing lane etc

It hurt losing Dunbar but the coaching staff not able to adapt killed us even more.

The Cowboys were stupid to put all their eggs in a diminutive RB who has an injury past. That is the caveat I take away from the Dunbar story.

It's one thing to say that injuries are poorly understood but it seems that the Cowboys don't plan around them much at all. DMC, Williams, Dunbar and Randle? Mental health is a reality too.

Honestly, I would prefer Dunbar not be on this team. He is not a bad player when healthy but he can't stay healthy or be relied on.

I would prefer the roster to be Lamar Miller/Darren McFadden/Rookie.

If the draft doesn't shake out for us, we can let Dunbar compete for a job with Robert Turbin and a couple others.

If losing the 3rd string, 1 trick pony RB for the year completely killed the offense, there was a lot more wrong with this team. Mainly, no explosion anywhere on the offense.

I don't know if the Dunbar loss was more than we realize. Our brains understand it, it's just that we lack the ability to express it in words.

If nothing needs to be said to the contrary, why mix words to do just that?
