He ain't much as a punt returner but Lance Lenoir and the kid with the unpronounceable name have shown Good to great route running and catching ability. They should both be placed on PS?

Beat you to it! Lenoir has a chance at the 53 but will probably be Switzer as PR.

Because Brown actually has Dez type talent. Guy has size, strength, and fluidity that most WRs do not.
So did Isaiah Stanback and Sam Hurd. They really worked out. Measurables sometimes don't measure up to much.

I just haven't seen much on the field from Brown that intrigues me. He's raw though, so maybe a potential project. But he definitely doesn't look ready right now

Nwachukwu is certainly playing well but in a league flush with good receivers I can see him getting waived and actually making it to the Cowboys practice squad. Lenoir might actually make the squad as a kick/punt returner because of Switzer being banged up which is crazy because he's really not very consistent or good.

If he makes the team for his supposed KR/PR ability then we're doing something wrong in our evaluation because he's been worse than Lucky.

I don't put him anywhere near Dez's physical talent but I do think he is a PS WR this year and potentially a solid player in the future. I think Brown and Andy Jones make the PS.

Stanback was strictly an athlete they tried to convert from QB and he still made the roster. Hurd was not a great talent. That ones off by a country mile. This guy is a legit talent and although he is a little raw it's only because he's 19 and had an injury at Ohio St. He would have been easily a 2nd round pick had he stayed another year and developed.

Lenoir is a better WR than returner. Doubt he makes the team.

It was a sack and that is worth celebrating. Come on...
Any sack is worth celebrating. My point is some talk down on Taco cause they don't like him but when guys like Watt (who they wanted) does something similar he is too be praised.

I'm a big fan of Taco by the way

I think Lenoir has shown more promise than Noah Brown.. Not seeing why people are so infatuated with that kid
Agreed. Not that Noah is horrible but Lenoir has shown promise, IMO.

I am hoping so. Not sure about Lenoir...I like Andy Jones as well.

This team is going to have some very, very tough decisions to make. A lot of difficult cuts on the offensive side. Defensive side? Not as much lol
Maybe, but their upsides seem limited.

I disagree.

Lenoir is not fast, not big and not really all that quick.

Noah Brown is raw as a WR but is similar to Dez physically.

Oh, I agree with Lenoir. As a returner, he seems to seek out someone to tackle him. And as a WR, he's run-of-the-mill.

But even saying that, to me, he has shown more on the field than Brown. So other than the "measurables", I don't know why everyone is so hyped for what Brown has done.

Lenoir has been given every opportunity to make this roster and besides a couple nice catches nothing stands out for me about this guy, other than feeling he leaves meat on the bone on punt/kick returns. He needed to stand out there and he didn't.

Brown is a high upside type player which is what you want if you carry a 6th WR.

Also the Cowboys really like having a blocking WR and Brown is one of the best you'll see in that category. A few years ago they used Dwayne Harris in that role.

Brown also projects to being a good Special Teams player.

For anybody just casually watching the games, I can see why you might not be impressed with Brown. His preseason stats are probably not impressive; however, I don't put much stock into preseason stats. In fact when analyzing college players for the draft, I don't put much stock in college stats.

Dude I was just telling a friend this at work today... After ranting about the same thing last week...

We are LOADED at WR. The days of the Devin Street monumental drop-off are long gone. Go go gadget scouting dept!

Noah Brown is going to make the 53 because he looks and plays like a big NFL receiver that teams covet. He is still raw. He only played receiver for one or two years in college. He has the athleticism and nastiness that could make him special if he applies himself and learns the game. If he goes on PS he will be snatched. The other two receivers are gadget type players but not chain movers or red zoners.
