Obviously the miss to Dowdle in the End zone was horrible .

It was. But I suspect it was like Staubach to Jackie Smith in the Super Bowl. Roger related after the game he was shocked how open he was and guarded against throwing too hard or too high. Problem was, he took so much off it was behind Smith.

There was a defender in between Lance and Dowdle and he correctly lobbed the ball, but just took too much off. I’ve seen Dak do that including on a screen pass against the Eagles that became an INT TD.

More than anything, Lance shows us what we're missing st quarterback. That doesn't make him the answer, necessarily.

Marriotta up the middle on a chunk play was a killer . Dallas gets nothing out of the QB in that way if by design or scramble . Lance played one game in 2 yrs in Dallas he’s not going to want to come back here .
