Lance Zierlein Mock 3.0

I don't think you can ignore McMillan's production. I really think he compares favorably to Mike Evans and though he doesn't have the speed of Golden I think McMillan has the much higher floor. Golden could be that boom or bust guy that everyone falls in love with because of that 40 time. I'm not sold.

It is really painful watching Ewers throw the ball, can't believe some want to waste a 2nd round pick on him.
Agree. Rather draft Dillon Gabriel,Brady Cook or Will Howard. One of them can be the back up. I think Howard might actually be better than everyone thinks. He has a better arm than advertised. He's a winner on the biggest stage. No shrinkage. I'd spend a day 3 pick on him. Might have to overdraft him though. To me, the guys I named are better than Ewers. I watched many Texas games, I live in Texas. I can tell you, Manning is much better than he is. The accuracy, timing, mobility. Id draft a guy day 3 but I want Manning when he's available.

I’m struck by all this WR talk like I always am when Jones traded a four for Mingo and Brooks and Flournoy barely make the game day 47 . Cooks is gone so that opens up a roster spot for someone . And yet Dallas had one of the worst defenses in football last year .

I mean other than a starting RB who can give you 15 or so solid touches a game this draft should be wall to wall defense . The Eagles and the Lions heck the Saints the Ravens anyone with a decent offense kicked Dallas tail from one end of the art gallery to the other end .

Malakai Starks S
Barrett Carter LB
Jack Sawyer Edge
TJ Sanders DT
Dylan Sampson RB
McCord QB

Some D a RB a young QB with upside and let’s see some of the WR’s here already fight for playing time and targets .

Trade down from 12 restock your premium picks pantry for this yrs grocery run and 2026 .

Goldens tape really reminds me of a faster version of a young AB, I think he’ll eat out the slot but can also play wide with no issues, honestly couldn’t go wrong with him or Tet

i have watched many Texas games and explosive is not an adjective i would use for Golden,it could be mid QB play and teams maybe factoring that in too.
I agree with you to an extent because Golden didn't run away from defenders like a 4.28 speed play would; however, Golden was exploding out of his breaks to create separation. Also, it's possible Golden has just now come into that speed thru professional training and could be a burner moving forward.

My first choice would be Harmon, but I just don't see it happening.

I think most fans want Dallas to take some playmakers at the top of the draft and use the rest of the picks on defense. Get a WR, RB and CB with the first 3 than focused on LB, DT and oline in round 5. At least that is how most mock drafts I see from them on X go.

Sounds about right . I just hope if you wait that long for front seven help in the draft you’re not picking Devin Harper Damone Clark Jabril Cox Trysten Hill and heck throw Mazi into that group …Eberflus needs help in order for a contender to emerge .

Man at 12 that’s risky. I like Golden a lot but his production doesn’t speak #12 overall pick. In the 20’s I can live with it.

This draft sucks in the 1st….

Tet is the playmaker, Golden is another slot JAG. He's Cooks 2.0
From what Schottenheimer has said all offseason though he seems to prefer the slot guys. I'm a Tet fan myself, but I would be shocked if they take him at this point. I think Schottenheimer is doing is best Sean McVay impression in designing the offense.

Trade down for premium picks . Like switch out positions in the first with another team for there # 2 so you have your one stlll a little lower plus two second rounders .

last year was a better year to get one but our WR room is not good. Playoff teams usually have at least two very good pass catchers, the Eagles had Smith and Brown and still traded for Dotson during the season. I watched a video on youtube by DoubleMove that quoted some interesting research done over the last decade on the success rate by round of WRs drafted.

Round 4-7 6/211 1 in round 6 and 0 in round 7
Round 3 10/46 about 21%
Round 2 20/54
Round 1 20/43 about 47% the success rate went up the higher teams were picking.

The Cowboys are usually pretty good at evaluating WRs and I bet Junior Adams who just came from the college ranks is involved in the process which can only help.

Whoever it is, the goal is to not only bring in a productive playmaker, but also to maximize Lamb's playmaking ability.

Lamb has the potential to be the best WR in the NFL. I could argue he actually is the best.

Double Move does good work. 90 percent sure he's on this board.
