I am happy with the way Jerry Jones is handling the situation. He's expressing his respect for Glover in the print media.

He's been the most productive free agent signing for the Cowboys in the past 15 seasons. He never whined, complained or threw any tantrums when we sucked or the when coaching staff decided to switch defenses that limited his production.

I am hoping that the Cowboys can find a way to keep him. Guys like Glover are the subtle difference makers during the dog days of training camp and late in the season......... in a winning or losing season.

If there is any player that wouldn't mind taking a hit with dead money down the road it's Glover. There should always be a place on a young and up and coming team for savvy veterans like Glover.

love glover but he ain't worth the 6 mil we will save. with no cba it is even more important to get as much space as you can cause you can't spread the bonus out for the guys you sign.

I'm sure we would love to keep Glover. The problem is, we won't be able to keep him, and he's probably ready to go somewhere else. Why would he want to take a big pay cut to be a two-gap player here when he can get equal or better money elsewhere and start in a 43 that suits his skills?

Exactly. He is probably still the best defensive lineman in Dallas. However, for the money and the things he is asked to do, it would probably be better for him if he played elsewhere.
