Did anyone see or hear the reports that Larry Allen was making a bid for LeBlentley Center for Saints to come to the Cowboys. I saw some post where Bentley whom lived in Cleveland was wanting to go there, but after Larry Allen talked to him, or something like that, Leblentley was all for it? I think that will really help us.
I maybe wrong, but Al Johnson just doesnt cut it, he gets pushed back in pile too much, and either he or Bledsoe were at fault for some fumbles this year at exchange between center and QB. That cost us at least 2 games. Sure, some guys said, that Johnson has only played like 2 years, one year being on injured reserve. Yet, at same time, that 3 years he should have been hitting the weights, getting stronger and tougher.
I think thats part of the problem some guys on the cowboys team dont want to pay the price it takes to become good, work out etc. I remember back in 70's after all coaches and players had left the field. Rayfield Wright was still on field in 73 and 74 working with Harvey Martin an extra hour after each practice. To improve Harveys skills, etc, and we all know how Harvey Martin turned out.
Its time for guys like Al Johnson, Willie Blade, Sean Ryan, Torrin Tucker (whom we all know was the first to leave field after offseasoning conditioning) not working his butt off to become the best, etc.), Andre Guronde--we all know how parcells spoke all season long how Guronde was poor at snaping in the shotgun formation, and how Guronde blew a block that a New York Giant turned fumble into a touchdown. Come on, guys like Guronde, Tucker, Blade, Johnson have been here 3-4 years its time for them to grow up, or get out of Dodge city, either they want to play or not play.
