Larry Allen is the best guard I have ever seen. Hannah was really good and gave the Manster all he could handle a couple of times but Allen destroyed everyone, including pro bowlers, he lined up across from.

From about 1998 to just before he got injured in 2002, the opposing DTs would ask their teams to put them on the injury report list the week prior to playing Dallas.

They wanted an excuse when they got destroyed.

Dierdorf is spot on in this video! That was a spectacular play by Allen! From standing start, Larry fetched him, LOL!

...1st ballot there is no point to the institution and it would be the final nail to prove the voters and the Hall is a sham.

Let's hope there is integrity in the HOF.

I will never forget that, the most impressive athletic thing I've seen. Can you imagine him pulling, being one of the strongest men in the NFL at the time, with that speed coming at your CB?

Look @ the comment I found under this video.

I played with Larry at Sonoma, went against him everyday in practice! Most of our battles ended in fights and trying to rip each other's face mask off. I look back at our playing days together and I knew at the time he was a good player, didn't imagine he'd be one of the best to ever play on the offensive line! Mad props to Larry! He wouldn't have been drafted as high as he was if not for Freddie Bradley and all the NFL scouts looking for Bradley and finding Allen as well.

This best part about the video is Dierdorf making a mess in his pants.
