Ok, this is for Larry Allen, and fans to read, get their input. I cant remember our offensive line coach before parcells came in 2003, but he stated something like, If fans really knew the things Larry Allen was doing & getting away with, the fans would run us both out of town.

Now to my point about restructure allens contract, the Chiefs just got Will Shields to redo his contract to make it cap friendly to a 4 year deal and so he could retire as a chief. As you all know also, snynder of the stinking skins got about 7 players to come in and redo their contracts to get under salary cap when it was 94.5. So, if these players can swallow their pride, restructure and make their salary cap friendly, so can Larry Allen. I care about him and love him as a fan. Yet, he needs to realize that he needs to help us by lowering him cap hit, so we can get some better players to match what the skins did infree agency.

I think we have about 20 million in cap money left, after cutting keyshawn, if Larry would lower his salary to about 3 mill or so, to 4 maybe with some kind of signing bonus, that maybe would free us with about 3 to 3.5 million to go get a good player like Ventair kicker or McGinnest LB/DE from new england. Heck, some of larry allens restructure might allow us to redo keyshawns contract. I am sure Larry Allen would realize with a WR set of TO (Terrell Owens), Terry Glenn and Keyshawn would do, no team could stack defensive front seven against us, larrry could block better, hardly any blitzes after they get burned. Possibly if we get some more good players in free agency, along with another good draft, we would be in playoffs and chance for super bowl. That way Larry Allen could go out on top, get another super ring, etc. What about it Larry Allen?

Sounds warm and fuzzy, but I'll bet LA let's his wife pull the trigger on a deal or no deal, and chances are, someone as stupid as Snyder will see a highly dedorated veteran and way overpay him regardless of his decline in skills.

None of the Skins players took a pay cut. Their restructuring was mainly converting salary to up front bonuses so that the money could be prorated.

Allen is dominating at times but does not have the stamina to practice and play for 17-20 weeks plus preseason. He's what's known as a backup player at this point in his career.

no way is he just a backup player, just the fact that he can be dominating makes it apparent that hes not a backup. How many backups have you seen dominate?

backup player or not hes the best guard on this team....by far

That's not saying much. That's like saying that the one eyed man is king in the land of the blind.
