He doesn't have the nimble feet that he was once noted for. Remember his rookie season when he ran down a guy from behind? The play I can see in my mind, but the runner I can't remember.
As for the Glenn TD Allen did not only completely whiff on the tackler, he gave one of the most embarassing arm waves at the guy as he bent his waist towards him. Anyone who has ever been on a sports team has heard the coach yell, "Move your feet!!!" That whiff was plain laziness. He pulled to the lines left then stood around looking for someone to block instead of attacking the nearest man.
He's still an asset to this team, but we need to address his replacement sooner than later if we don't want to get caught with our pants down at that position.
