People should help with or without money. It starts with a kind heart. The rest follows.

People should do what they want. Your opinion is yours and that's fine but people are under no obligation to do anything. That's how it works. The reality is that we know nothing of what Jerry has done for Brown to this point. For all we know, he has tried to help. If it's something Jerry wants to do, that's great. If it's something he decides not to do, then that's his choice and nobody should expect that it's his responsibility to do other then he has.

I do not profess to be brilliant but I don't think you have to be brilliant to understand a common sense approach. That is my opinion and you can feel free to pile on more superlatives, if you wish.

Even billionaires can't just hand out a half-o-million here, a half-o-million there to anyone they've ever come across. You know how many players Jerry has come across in his career? And outside of a big Super Bowl game, Larry Brown's career wasn't that memorable. A solid but unspectacular player. He also managed to go flat broke 4 years after retiring from a moderately successful NFL career. Heck, I've been a Cowboys fan for 25 years, and I have student loans. Can Jerry help me out?

People say Larry wasn't that good of a player and that he was just surrounded by great talent in Dallas. They point to his sub par play at Oakland. All I know is he was a good guy and solid corner in Dallas and Super bowl MVP in Dallas and that's all I care about..........Hope he's doing ok..

Holy moly..... I love this guy.... STILL!!!!

What he did was forever lasting!

Saved me from meltdown SBXXX.... I lost $500... Lol ..... But I just wanted the win!

Thank you Larry!!! Every day!! Thank you!

So often, a players "big part"/ his low quantity BUT "quality" contribution is minimalized or rationalized down to being no big deal or lucky or some other "after the fact" regurgitation.

The guy was money when he had to be money. Like it or not.... Some of the greatest players that never won a Super Bowl can't say that!

Has anyone here watched that ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary "Broke"?
Watch it, then you'll understand why many pro athletes lose their $$$.

This isn't limited to athletes or others in the entertainment field. It's a well known fact that people who win the lottery(everyday Joes) also usually go broke within 5 years of their big pay outs. Most people don't know how to manage money.
