Dunno if anyone is watching the cardinals game but Fitzgerald is the defenition of"rkg."

Great teammate, enormously talented, hard worker, loyal, team player.

It's a shame he has such a bad team :(

He played in a Super Bowl a few years ago. He can consider himself fortunate.

Yep, outside of Romo/Witten/Ware he's one player I really want to see win the big one. It's a shame he'd rather take money over winning though.

Well, his "bad team" has severly outperformed our "good team" if that's what you're insinuating.

He's played in a Super Bowl and almost won it. We won a wild card game once.

I don't feel that to be the case Joshmil. I think it's loyalty to the team that drafted him more than anything. He genuinely loves AZ and we did get him to a SB. Tuff climb now, but he's got some years left. We need to solve this qb mess sooner than later.

Can't imagine Romo having a guy that gifted and reliable at WR.

Dez certainly has a lot of his athleticism. I can't see him ever being that great of a route runner nor someone that is so solid off the filed and in the locker room.
He's kind of like combining Witten and Dez one package.

He's been apart of way more playoff wins than everyone on the Cowboys

He's the best WR in the NFL in my opinion, but most of that stems from his Witten like personality rather than his athleticism. He's an athlete for sure, but his measurables just do not compare with those of a Calvin or Andre Johnson... or really even Dez for that matter.

Still, the guy is incredible. Wish he was one of ours.

this. fortunally measurables doesn't always lead to success. i am not sure if this would of been possible at the time but do any of you think the deal we gave the lions for RW could of instead of been used to the card's for fitzgerald?

I highly doubt it. Fitz is about 2 years younger than R-dub, but at that point had already proven he was the superior receiver. I think he had two 1400 yd seasons by 2008 and was just entering his prime.

Plus if I remember right he was also the 3rd overall pick in the draft just a few years before that.

And of course, 2008 was a good year for the Cardinals. They definitely weren't going to be in a fire-sale mode-- The definitely would have wanted to keep him since he was their most valuable weapon.

Now Anquan Boldin... that may have been a different story.

You think? I remember Boldin being good but he hasn't had much success in balitmore, granted flacco being the QB.

I would have doubled what we gave up for R. Williams to get L. Fitz. Dude is great in multiple ways.

I would of given 2010/2009 first rounders for Fitz and wouldn't even think twice.

That superbowl was exciting to watch! As always not happy my Cowboys weren't their but at the end of the day I am a football fan. I like Kurt Warner too, was hoping we would sign him but we didn't pull the trigger on the deal back then. Your qb mess is hurting you guys, Kolb was supposed to be a good up in coming qb. Fitz's career numbers will suffer in the long run because of being on the team he is on but the guy should make the HOF when elgible anyway I would think.
