Either way-Gints are gonna wish Pierce is healthy.
I agree with that. He's one of the best run stopping MLBs in the NFL.

Great job Natedawg, I was thinking the same thing as johnson was ripping through the Dallas defense.

It just goes to show that none of us on these forums really know what we are talking about. We are just guessing.

It wasn't that cryptic.

On the previous forum even your username was a defense of Emmitt.

In other words, yeah I know who this is and have for a long time.

Ok, you've lost me. I'm sure it makes sense but I just don't get it.

All i'm saying is that I don't understand why Emmitt get's credit over his offensive line but LJ doesn't. Obviously LJ will have to do it for a long time, but he's a supreme talent.

Obviously, you didn't notice this monster get thrown to the ground like a rag-doll by Ware with ONE hand on a pass block. The ONLY monster on KC is the OL collectively.

Yeah no doubt. And I think he was supposed to blocked fujita as well and he missed that block resulting in a sack and a fumble.

b) here's how rumors work. one site throws something out there. then another picks it up. then, once there are a handful of internet sites reporting on something, reporters from the big papers swoop in and take it as a story. journalistically, it meets the "2 independent sources" criteria - but really it is all just so much BS.

Uh, that is DEFINITELY not how it works. I'm a reporter.
Now a news source may pick up the information from another source, but they have to confirm that information with their own sources. Two independent sources IS NOT another publication. It has to be people close to the situation.

c) SI and ESPN regularly take rumors directly of PFT.com - the dude calls them out on it all the time

Maybe so. But I know that SI and ESPN reporters have more inroads than others.

BTW, rumors are just that. Rumors. They're really not subject to substantiation. They're like opinions. But they're given a bit more leeway labeled as such.

Okay EZ.

Yeah he's got serious talent. Not your typical Penn State RB bust. He does have a great OL though.

There have been more Penn state Running backs that have not been bust than have....

Blair Thomas dose not speak for everybody

gotta give you props Hos for changing your stance from the archives.
"I wouldn't trade anyone on the team for Larry Johnson"

Get this for a stat in Larry Johnson's 12 starts over the past two seasons his stats are 1393 yards rushing and 21 TDs. Yeah they have a great O-line but no one just jumps in and scores 21 TDs in a twelve game span as a starter in the NFL and not have some serious talent.

Like I said, finally a Penn State RB isn't a colossal bust.

Franco Harris and Lydell Mitchell were a long time ago. In between we've ahd Ki-jana Carter, Blari Thomas, and Curtis Enis.

I can't say for certain that LJ could do that on any team, but give the man his due, he's tearing ti up.

You take it easy.

I'm just saying he's very good.

Don't forget Curt Warner. He was pretty damn good for the Seahawks.

Curtis Enis was really a linebacker .Penn State only made him a RB his last year at PSU.
That was the Bears mistake to take him....

HOw bout Curt Warner, Gary Brown, Richie Anderson, Sam Gash, Steve Smith, Jonathan Williams and Matt Suhey??

I know I put some full backs in there but they are still running backs that were not bust...

B.Thomas and K.Carter were bust and Like I said more so than a bust I think Bears just did not think...
